It's will be hard to get Ravagers to the Boss Terminal, because they are taking damage from radiation… I think what beating Abberation with Rock Drakes is better variant *Edit:* I understood your suggestions about ravagers, please stop >.
Drakes are the big ones of aberration alongside reapers, that’s like rexes and wyvers. Ravagers are the small exclusives to aberration, those are the best to use. It may work, it may not, but using drakes defeats the whole point of this series.
My worst fear in this game are the mantises bc they can do that jumping attack. Had a very traumatizing experience being a beach Bob exploring and then seeing a mantis a good 40-50 ft away, which proceeded to spot me and jump the gap within milliseconds and killing me in one blow 😬

You need a guide for this? O.o Take female, take male, do eggs until you get mutation, breed with mutation. Continue until you loose your mind and then continue some more. Time needed: Until you die
Hi, love the videos! I just wanted to point out in case you did not know: "Enable Singleplayer Settings" causes dino stats to be enormously boosted. By disabling this setting, your dino's stat growths will look more like what you'd get on an official server.
Pikes never got hit with the Mantis-Sword nerf (which increased the durability use when a mantis holds a sword to 'balance' them), so they are generally better when using mantis for dps, if you can stand the minor dps loss. Plus, with the general crappy AI of Ark, the extra reach gives them a little more room for error depending on the fight. Second -- For your Aberration fight you should do either Aberrant Stegosaurs or Iguanadons. Just for the novelty of uncommonly used tames, but because the boss doesnt move it makes these slow mounts have a chance on that fight, and all the unique creatures to aberration are either REALLY op (looking at you Rock Drakes and Ravagers), or completely useless. While funny, I dont think an army of Glowtails would do much to Rockwell.
Stegos also have the added benefits of being great gatherers of berries, wood, and thatch, and they take half damage from everything, plus the rider is immune from all attacks that would knock you out of the saddle, like those tentacle electrical attacks.
You should keep doing this series, eventually getting all of your creatures together to finish where you started with the Overseer. This time bringing in a mix of every animal; raptors, mantises, direwolves, an epic finale for the future
I'm curious what your server settings for breeding rates and such look like, would it be possible for those to be included in the description or similar?
before you made the saddles you should've drank a mind wipe and put all your points into crafting to have the best possible saddles. Then when your ready mind wipe again and put the points into the things you wanted
For aberration you should do ravagers! This is why I love mutating! It can do wonders... It can make weak creatures into strong ones and strong creatures into unbeatable ones. I mutated araneos up to 20 HP,Stam,weight and melee mutation and I managed to defeat the alpha megapithecus with them (with primitive saddle) and I also mutated scorpions up to 20 HP, stam,weight and melee mutation and they managed take down not only the alpha megapithecus,BUT also the ALPHA BROODMOTHER like WHAT (primitive saddle) it was so clutch and was a close call. (I will be honest I had both for araneo army and scorpion army 2 mate boosted 20 HP,stam,food and melee mutated daeodons,they carried the scorp army against the broodmother so hard),also you guys probably know,but the alpha dinopithecus is really hard and many will fail at the bossfight. I defeated the alpha one with a 20 HP melee mutated megalosaurus and with those daeodons what I meantioned earlier. The megalos and daeds had 110% saddles and took down the boss and only one daed and 3 megalos died. Megalosaurus is very underrated,it is one of the best boss fight creatures they are even better than rexes and theriz.
@@Rampy Yey! Man, even 20 mutation dodos are weak. xD My perfect dodo has a 48 point HP stat(424.1 HP no imprint and levels) and the 20 HP mutated dodo only has 744.1 HP. (no imprint and levels) I will stat cap them,I wonder how strong it will be, maybe even the dosoa could defea gamma bosses. xD
Id love to see this with only thylacoleo they are my favorite you could do it on the lost island thylacoleo are also so versatile that I think you could use one for anything also getting mutton shouldn't be too hard on the lost island

the "getting stuck" thing is some kind of bug with the mantis. I noticed that if I don't ride one the bug won't show, but if I do that bug stays there until I restart my game. Don't know why, but it does. Shame as this is the best utility dino in the game imo. I'm betting you started noticing those glitches right after you got your first one. It don't matter what map your on either. I had a mantis on The Island do the same thing.
I will say having done less challenging versions of something like this myself. Smaller creatures might have a harder time against bosses, but damn do I enjoy how much less of a chore it is to arrange them to teleport into the fights.
Nice vid ik the struggle for oil might have been hard at the start with no dino for movement but oil pumps are very common from drops on scorched in my experience

Pro tip: drop mantis/arthro into a 2x2 that trap 2 walls high, and you can tame them thru the wall. They can agro if you use argy and will destroy the trap, which is why thatch is preferable since it can be mass produced for nothing.
You should make dino base so you can have a portable base and you can put aircons in there you should also have like 3 rock golems and terror birds for defense
Maybe Pteradon only wouled be nice, He got a Flyer wich makes it more fun for him to Play. But with Pteradons Low Up He need to Bremer more and Farm more for better Sattle 🤗

do more of these Edit: primitive shotgun does more damage per shot, also do Parasuar next. Another edit: do ravengers on aberration, I wonder how hard it will be without glow pets.
Tip use shadow stake with an assault rifle (80%less recoil) and go for headshots (imo it's better than the shotgun in pvp as you can actually benefit of arks 3x headshot damage multipler given it better dps than a shotgun)

you want a buff to these guides in general. as you are 105 take a mide wipe, put all points in crafting and make the weppons with the "crafting buff" also make a food recipy out of 20 or 40 meat land or sea.... youll find fights alot easier
Man I remember when scorched first came out. My tribe leader wanted some fire arrows to kill our rivals gigas easily so I ended up as a solo player on scorched for like 2 weeks. we werent interested in wyverns atm since our rivals didnt want to pack up and move either.

it is very interesting to see how well the mantises perform. I normally just rush down the Manticore so seeing the fight happen is actually something interesting, at least for me, especially with a dino that doesnt just melt the manticore by somewhat blocking it from flying do to its size.

Same, I hate always taming Rex's and Reapers and stuff, so I love the other dinos like Stego and Plesiosaurs

I think the fact the megatherium was level 5 is proof they could use some rebalancing.
I assume they are as they are for Broodmoother. Gives new players an easy focus, and easy boss to farm for all the shiny Two items

Being on smaller tames makes the fights so much more intense than when you’re just sat on a Rex.

for a protip, before you enter the boss go to your dinos harvest settings and disable harvesting. it keeps them from getting weighted down by junk
