This is one of the most underrated songs in the Daredevil series. Really fitted the Punisher
It's a sequence of calculated dread. The composers and writers understood the characters the most in daredevil s 1 @ 2.
Try and find a theme more chilling than the daredevil theme.
This song captured perfectly daredevil’s emotional perception of the Punisher but I don’t think it would work in his show because it’s not how the Punisher feels about himself so I like how they changed the theme for the Punisher show
That makes a lot of sense. In Daredevil he is portrayed as a wild predator, which this song goes great with. But in his show he has a more noble cause, he is not the anti-hero, he is the hero

@@ericstorm6582 I just wanted to see more of punisher mindlessly punishing more bad guys, the punisher tv show gave him heart and charisma which took away from what I liked about him.
@@rainfall2880 This is 1 year late but, the Punisher doesn't "mindlessly" punish bad guys. Sure, if he knows someone's a bad guy who's done atrocious shit, he will kill him. But that's the thing, he KNOWS that someone's done it.
He takes his time, investigates the person thoroughly incase he doesn't know for sure, and then decides his course of action after.
They really nailed it with the theme song. Every theme song The Punisher has had, really does sound like a fitting theme that goes well with the man from the comics.

The theme almost makes it sound like he's Jason Voorhees...which in a way he is to his targets.
+David Franz thought the same thing myself XD, remeember in ep 10 where Karen was in her apartment with those 2 cops standing right outsider her door? Frank's shadow just walks right into frame, that gave me a Jason Voorhees vibe, especially in ep 1, where it cuts to the Irish dude standing outside and he hears Frank's footsteps then turns around, total Jason vibe. I love it :D.
I really hope Tyler Bates uses this theme in The Punisher Netflix series. This sounds SOOOOOO BADASS!!!!!
It really sounds like a soldier on a very intense mission. Thus the PUNISHER.

I know it just makes him feel more intense and that he is really a man to be feared. Didn't get that from his show, at least I didn't think he was anywhere near as menacing as he was in daredevil.

Main thing that Marvel/Netflix missed in the Punisher tv show is that he is not a HERO. He never was. He should be treated as a psycho killer. A scary mofo that will kill/burn/torture anyone on his path. This soundtrack sounds like he was some kind of Terminator. Which he's supposed to be.
He's not psychotic though. He's mission driven and his plans are very well thought out

I haven't seen any other Punisher films, but i know who the Punisher is, and what created him, and i can say with confidence that NETFLIX made a perfect match of music and actor. I was waiting for his first appearance for the whole 2 seasons

The way they built up Punisher in his first episode was crazy. Fisk could be scary because of how unpredictable he was. But Punisher was terrifying because he was virtually unstoppable. Just one man, and yet everyone assumed he was an entire team of rogue paramilitary troops because of how deadly he was.

I like punisher more than the daredevil. His morals are the one I stand by. Yes bad guys should be forgiven but after they are killed brutally.

The underlying argument in the methods of daredevil vs the punisher is that for daredevil, redemption only happens on earth and can be for anyone
The punisher is a good character because he’s interesting not because he’s morally right

at times I wish I was the punisher because there's to much corruption and lawlessness in our streets because the cops have their hands full sometimes I feel the same way as The Punisher does but other I feel like the Daredevil it depends on the situation.
If you’re still serious about cleaning the streets I have some advice:
Train in CQC, MMA, CAR stance, and urban warfare tactics. Know both federal and local law enforcement codes.
Read the Art of War, then read it again; know every word of that book, cover to cover. It will save your ass both in the field and in the courtroom.
Get yourself a rifle, a shotgun, and a handgun. Learn each weapon’s strengths and weaknesses.
Finally, make sure you’re willing to die or be made into a villain by the media and the police. Remember that you aren’t invincible. Remember that even if the pieces of shit you kill didn’t deserve anything better, society will crucify you out of the fear that you are right.
