The Orca is indeed a huge and intelligent predatory mammal. Orcas are super intelligent, larger, faster, and attacks prey larger than itself while crocodiles attack prey much smaller. There is no contest. Even if the croc was abnormally larger by double the size of the orca, the orcas intelligence and speed would still win over a giant croc.
Nope, a single bite of a croc if it's in the same size as an orca, it will one shot an orca, imagine Nile crocs having a bite force of 5000 psi, it's more than enough to rekt an armor less orca.
@@sweethomealabama4381 I’m thinking about the speed and brains. Not armor and bite power. Orcas are more intelligent by that of almost human intelligence. Crocs aren’t very smart. Add this with the fact that Orcas body’s are streamlined. They are freaking fast compared to crocs. In war, small and fast can decide the victor if the leader is smart. Fast and smart wins over any armor and strength. Besides, it’s not like the orca has no armor or no strength. It’s one of the strongest predators in the ocean, pounds and ponds of muscle. And it’s skin is super freaking thick, some of the toughest skin around. Another point about intellect, It’s the reason us human who are one of the weakest animals are still the top of the food chain.
@@sweethomealabama4381 the problem is that crocs would never get the initiative against a orca. They could win if they could get the first bite. But it would never happen. Orcas can sense too.

Orcinus Orca is actually a dolphin, the largest male was 32 1/2 feet. Their length range is from 16-32 1/2 feet Their bite has been estimated to be 19,000 psi+ . The saltwater crocodile was measured at 7,000 psi. To add to that a 16 foot Orcinus orca weighs more is wider, taller and heavier than a 20 foot saltwater crocodile. The Killer whale is also extremely strong, fast and powerful. The saltwater crocodile would know better than to cross a killer whale. The crocodile would be devoured. I’m very sure they have encountered each other before.
this one is a no brainer. Its like pinning an orca vs a crocodile...oh wait. (In wild ciencias accent) Next up Sloth vs Kangaroo in a boxing match, would win? 😂
this seems like such a waste of time. Orcas make short work of great whites, I'm sorry I love crocs but they don't stand a chance against an orca. the poor croc wouldn't know what hit it
The only chance a saltie would remain in the fight is if it ripped off both Orca fins, which is virtually impossible since it would have a hard time even getting to one, let alone two. I think if one of the killer whale's fins was taken out, it would be so unrelentingly pissed off that it would end the fight immediately.
One thing to keep in mind. In Any ecosystem that develops mammalian predators that hunt in social groups, that species immediately becomes the apex predator. Orcas, wolves, Lions, and Humans. So, in the Ocean, Orca is king.
I just hate crocs, one thing is that they seem to have the ability to know when an animal is too dangerous to mess with. these are/ hippos, orcas, great whites and male lions/tigers.
There are two absolute Apex Predators on the planet that will win nearly every battle against another predator. The marine mammal is the Orca and the land animal is Kodiak Bear and/or Alaskan Coastal Brown Bear. Even Polar Bears avoid the smaller Grizzly Bears.
"The males often reach 30"- Can you post realiable source of this info? Because in the most descriptions of killer whales we can read, that only the biggest one can reach up to 30 feets. And in my opinion "the biggest one" means, that these animals are exceptions, and it's very hard to find so big orcas.
Male killer whales can reach 32’ in length... you short changed the male orca size on your video description. Ive seen a male which was close to 32’ when i was up in Vancouver.. we were in a 28 ft boat and when the male swam by it was LONGER than our boat... just MASSIVE!!
Orca roughly weighs 4000 kg on average. Saltwater croc is roughly about 500 kg on average. Orcas hunt finback whales that weigh up to 50 tons. Nile Crocs (similar in size to salties) are scared of hippos. Not much of a contest here.

Top 5 most powerful predators in the ocean: reply what you think 1. Orca 2. Sperm Whale 3. Saltwater Crocodile 4. Dolphins (that aren't orcas) 5. Sharks
The killer whale is the closest thing we have to a mosasaur today (despite being half the size) And even amongst marine predators killer whales are arguably far more formidable than the former.
The orca has way more advantages, like intelligence, size, speed maybe a 20 +footer saltwater Crock with plenty of battle experience, and attitude might stand a better chance.
Orcas are mammals and have larger brains not only that they have a great size advantage. They easily outweigh crocs by a whopping 10000 lbs. Plus they’re too smart, too fast, too powerful and simply too agile in the waters to be attacked by the croc. In all probability the croc will be turned into a nice handbag or purse for mrs orca on Valentine’s Day.
Easy win for the Orca, would swim in fast and total overwhelm the Croc before it knew wtf was happening. The salty is a match for anything except for the Orca or many species of whale like a Sperm whale for example.
Orcas are the apex predator of the ocean. But Crocodiles are specifically designed by nature to hunt and kill large animals in its hypercarnivalistic diet, Small or sickly Orcas have been killed by sharks, sperm whales, and giant squid. Crocodiles have also killed great white Sharks before. Although the Orca has the advantage, a Salt Water crocodile would pose a serious threat to it.
No animal on earth can take down an adult orca in the water. Sperm whale and blue whale chase them away from time to time but thats about it. A pod of orcas can take down even an adult blue whale. A perfect blend of intelligence, speed, size and strenght....no other animal can stand a chance.

YT: Orca vs Saltwater crocodile?
Me: finally, someone's asking the important questions
🤣 😆
The croc wouldn't know what hit him. I tell you, orcas are bullies. They might see any non-mammal monsters as dumb savages. Orcas are at their best when hunting giant whales, but if it's against anybody else, they just bully it, it's quite insulting actually a mistakenly apex predator great white shark got dropped in 2 moves (ram and flip). Croc is a reptile, no brain advantage at all.
The Orca is indeed a huge and intelligent predatory mammal. You always read that the saltwater crocodil has the greatest bite force, but because it is too difficult to measure the bite force of an Orca, this is not really known., but you can bet that an Orca has an enormous bite force with such a large head.
It's not a fish it's a mammal Jesus
@@johneverette699I like the perfect discription of the 2 animals in this beautiful video.
For me, the Orca is an intelligent, strong and heavy animal that probably rams the saltwater cocodil one or more times at great speed and after that it knows how to take out the cocodil without any risks, I think.😄
@@JMVD48 well it could very well go either way a croc is a pretty gruesome creature also
Orca are mammals not fish
I learnt Orcas' can have a bite force as high as 19,000 PSI. Surely we need more research to verify that, but at least for now that's what I know.
@@alchemygal3285 crocs can sense too, and as I said, u don't need to be super smart if u got the annihative power.
@@sweethomealabama4381 the problem is that crocs would never get the initiative against a orca.
They could win if they could get the first bite. But it would never happen.
Orcas can sense too.
@@alchemygal3285 crocs reacts really fast and they are built annihilative, yeah orcas are normally smarter and faster, but they don't swim faster than a crocodile moves its head in order to bite the orca, even if the croc is slower in swimming, they aren't slower when it comes to reacting.
I have been waiting for this from you. 😍😍😍
this seems like such a waste of time.
That's no competition. Killer Whale👊
How about a more even match up? Orca takes this in a landslide.
