- Dr. Joy, takes a critical look at the pattern of white women making dangerously false accusations against African Americans - like Amy Cooper who made a threatening 911 call against a black man bird watching in Central Park.
In court, prosecutors have used a hysterical 911 call as evidence of guilt. Usually, there is no video to refute it.
They say: “Just listen to the call - listen to this panicked, passionate, fearful 911 call.”
We watched this woman make a 911 call and was lying the entire time, becoming more emotional to bring the police on, to create this image of danger. We watched her do it.
The implications are serious.

The difference between diversity and equity & social justice.
An anthropology lesson: The attributions placed on Africans by white anthropologists in the 1700s are still used today in 2020. Dehumanizing in order to justify actions against black people.
A history lesson on institutionalized racism: this includes the North and South compromise to classify enslaved black people as ⅗ human to limit the Southern states’ votes. It’s not limited to the U.S. - there were HUMAN Zoos in Paris and Belgium as recently as 1958.
The history of white women killing or causing the murder of innocent black men and children.

Perhaps the better question is, MUST the victim agree or request prosecution in order for the charged to be prosecuted?
Of course they're gonna want the victim to prosecute so if they don't they can call "We tried" ...but they refuse to serve so called justice...but if the tables were turned they would definitely prosecute even if the victim refuses. .😔😔😔 but we all know if the rolls were reversed they would always prosecute...no question...😔😔😔
Prosecutors would be salivating at the mouth to pickup the charges if reversed. Another reason why Christianity was used to control our people. Wicked.
It's because Mr. Cooper lives amongst them and didn't want the situation to affect his friendships.

Dr Joy I became a RJW as a little white girl in Laurel, Mississippi. We lived in Seattle but in 1954 visited my Grandfather in Laurel.
We took the bus downtown and I loved the back of the bus. When I got on I made a B line for my favorite window across the back.
Shortly my Dad was walking down the aisle and apologizing to the other people on the bus as he picked me up and carried me to the front.
When we got off we sat on a bench and my Dad and Granddad explained that as a white girl I had a responsibility to protect black people from other white peoples. I learned that black peoples would get in trouble if someone thought they hurt me and that’s why I’m crying.
I learned at the time that bigotry existed and could harm black peoples. In the town there was a cotton mill and Granddaddy was a manager. Many people seemed to know and like him.
Even four year old Karen’s could trigger a backlash from KKK and others. Think Emitt Till.
I also learned what it feels like to deny me something apparently because I was the wrong color. In Seattle every color could sit everywhere. Wasn’t that right.

Completely agree to every single thing that was said in this video. Particularly the fact that we as white people can not just say “I’m not racist!!”. We have to actually actively be be ‘Anti-Racist’. No if’s or buts about it. I’m making everyone uncomfortable around me, family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances. How come I've never heard of this part of the slavery story, everyone in the world needs to hear these stories. Isn't there a museum specifically for African American history. This is so relevant more so today and especially the younger generation is very interested in there black African roots, the treatment of slaves needs to be addressed before giving illegal migrants money for entering the country illegally! I read her book, too. I still need to get the accompanying workbook. And I agree. The 'Karen' behavior isn't new. It's just that now we all have cameras that we can instantaneously film incidents. Yes, something needs to be done about harassing, menacing, stalking, calling the police on Black people who are doing ordinary things. I keep joking that I'm going to make a list of things Black people can't do if someone white is bothered by our presence and publishing it. But I'm afraid the list would be too long and too unnerving for me.
There really only needs to be one thing on the that list. All that is required for white people to act a fool, is to be black in their presence. Sometimes just showing up in their orbit is enough to be "threatening".

AND we have karens who live on the same street and in the same apartment building, with the same landlords, they tend the same schools and are the heads of schools as well. AND they are in the medical institutions and they have influence many priyas, mei lings and yasmines. She died before I was born and my mom didn't live near her so I don't know if she was a both-side-of-the-fence-playing woman or not. (It's quite possible, even back then.)
I did, however, have a 100% Irish Great GrandDad who HATED white people. My mom told me how much he fought against the oppression and mistreatment Black Americans/ADOS. I also have an Irish friend who will DEFINITELY check people when they call him "white". (LOL I LOVE it!!!) He cannot STAND to be lumped in with [those] "white people" (as he says with a bit of irritation in his voice). He KNOWS way more about them than I do as he has heard them speaking trash about Black people when none were present; he has worked with A LOT of (mostly) whites for decades and because he's Irish (and their color), they think he's just like THEY are - racist against Black people - because the title of a book even told us "How the Irish Became White". As a white woman, I can say that is 100% fact. In my younger days I thought there was no way I was the problem personally, I mean my formidable years were shaped by strong Black Queens and Kings so I can just stand close enough to cheer if things seemed safe and to celebrate "if" there were victory.
My 👿 self was compliantly propagating racism and therefore practicing racism!
It took being forcfully immersed mind body and soul in the fire and agony of raw real racism for me to truly understand that if one is white and not actively Anti-racist every day in America they are racists and I too had chosen to look and not See to listen to but not hear, Thank God through the redemptive power of the Savior Christ who was also called King im able to repent regularly, I welcome the discomfort the outright shame and heart-rending aches and I pass it gently yet firmly to my white children, because it's the very least that I can do, it is not a good deed or an admirable act. It's just me in my own corner trying to not let any Hate propagate through me or my children.

My story of how my brother and I came to be born in Chicago is that my father, who was born and raised in Mississippi, was accused of flirting with a a white girl and was supposed to be lynched ( this was in the late '40s early 50's) and his mother, my grandmother, advised him and my mama to "run to the North". This how/why my family ended up in Chicago. These stories are too common! My Dad could have been the next Emmit Till. R.I.P Emmit.✊🏾♥️😢

I agree,Karen's/Ken's,lying plus false 911 calls,they should receive, jail time,fines,classified as a felony probation,community hrs,civil suits,put into a file,like CODIS, lose their jobs and write a letter of apology. They also need a CODIS system for those that committed crimes, working in Federal,Government, Civil Services,City,State jobs,so they won't be able to go to another city or state and get the same type of job.
