    Winter is coming sooner than we want!! We had 2 1/2" of snow Wednesday. Glad you're getting the animals ready for the cold because its coming!! Heat lamps can be dangerous and I don't blame you for not using one. Fire would be awful. Thank you again Justin. Have a great week.❤ Maple and Souls beards crack me up😂

    Our poor neighbor lost his barn and 20 does from a heat lamp turned over. It was so sad. He was devastated at the loss. It's no joke.

      I can't imagine going through that. I see a lot of people speaking out now against heat lamps. Hopefully people will start to go away from them.

    Pine shavings ok for goat bedding?

      Yes they are we buy pine flakes from tractor supply for our kidding stalls

      Just a warning. We did pine shavings for our 3 Nigerian Goats. 1 died because he ate so many shavings and were up in his gut poking through. We had surgery to get them removed but he was too small...didn't make it. Regular sized goats will be fine but be careful with smaller breeds.
