I immediately noticed the same issue when I started the Tomb Raider game. I just got my Exp R system yesterday and was really disappointed just how extremely low the volume is at max for this game. It's a bit louder with other cartridges, but even then it could still benefit from having a higher output. I'm starting to have doubts about this company's quality control because I've also had issues with some of the game cartridges not working basically brand new. I was a fan at first owning the small handheld that plays the evercade cartridges by Hyper Mega Tech, but now I'm on the fence debating if I want to return the Exp R??... On top of that, this product originally was supposed to be released months ago and I'm appalled that after months of a delay, THIS is the finalized product I've been patiently waiting for. Lastly this dang thing charges extremely slowly! Like at a low prehistoric wattage! Smh 😒
This is my first experience with the company and I too was taken aback by the delay without explanation. They did not communicate at all. I believe the volume got better in the Tomb Raider games, but I will test again. There appeared to be an issue with my headphones port, the plug had to be inserted partially to work. Please test yours.
