Not only did his party treat him badly, the ungrateful people of India treated him badly as well. The same middle-class section of the society which benefitted the most due to his governance, did not vote for him in the next election and made sure that he lost power. Sad, very sad ! Nobody remembers him - neither his partymen nor the UNGRATEFUL people of India !!

I was born in late 80s. We have been benefitted by liberalisation for sure, and we must thank PVN for it, but there is one major drawback of it which has impacted many people of my age group. i.e. Unnatural development and growth, I somehow feel I was in coma and I woke up few years later. I don't know what happened on Sunday 😁. I really miss those simple, peaceful days of the past. While I am missing those days, I am typing this message on an American phone, sending via an Indian 4G network, life is much more comfortable. Chalti ka naam Zindagi.

in spite of lots of disadvantage of "licence raj" only advantage was that its made our out desi industries like Tata , Mahindra , Birlas , Jindals ,Reliances , cipla and other biotechs , FMCGS very strong base, so later they gave a very tough competition to all those MNCS and still dominating position . last but not least thanks to our strong democratic structure.

The least you should have done is to discuss the lack of penetration by Market forces in your country despite Pak being a mixed economy almost like India, and the factors responsible.
