Watching this makes me feel grateful that both my parents love me and work hard to provide for our family. To all the people who are going through the same or similar situation, don't lose hope and stand your ground. We're here for you.
I love story booth so much it will tell us a story that they had and we will support them. Keep doing what your doing and love your self for who you are.💓😃
Wow. This hit home. My dad is a piece of shit, alcoholic as well. He has been verbally abusive towards my family and physically even hurt my mother. Stay strong. You do matter.
Thank goodness he didn't abuse you though because I thought he was going to abuse you. And since some fathers who do the stuff your father did. They abuse their children and wife.
My dad is the same way! He is one of the greatest people I ever knew, but he is rarely home. My mom and siblings talk poorly of him when he’s not home, but I love him more than anyone. My older brother had taunted me saying “Mom and Dad are gonna divorce” but I tell him it’s not true, even though at any moment my mom could write the papers. My dad was in the military for most of my life, so my mom raised all of us on her own, making money off of teaching. When my dad is home, he makes sure to spend time with all of us, though every night he’s home, he kisses me goodnight, and he’s gone the next morning.
I give my dad extra beer every single day, he abuses my little brother, but he does not abuse me because I give him extra beer everyday, and the best part is that I don't have to stop my dad from abusing my little brother, I can just chill.
That’s very sad to hear. Your parents were very cruel people to each other. I respect that you had to suffer through them back then. It’s nice to hear that you’re okay with your grandma. You keep fighting through.
I can totally relate to how this girl feels. My dad was very abusive to my mom for sixteen years and they got divorced four years ago after my grandpa’s funeral. I am the middle child and my dad would always blame things on me because of it. One weekend I was in a fight with my sisters and my dad just snapped. He physically abused me, and the worst part was that my sisters were in the same room with me and they just watched my dad beat and almost suffocate me. I didn’t say anything to my mom because I was scared she wouldn’t believe me. A few weeks went by and she reminded us it was my dads weekend. I finally got the courage to tell her what happened and CPS was called. I haven’t visited my dad in 3 years. Well, I only come over to his place for Christmas but that’s about it. I still love my dad a lot, but he refuses to get help. I hope my dad can change his mind and get the help he needs, because he’s hurt my family, and himself.
my dad never did that, but when i was little he would belt me to a chair when i did wrong. I was little so i laughed it off, also annoyed him by cussing. me and my brother would hear cussing, so we would imitate it. he would also beat me and my brother with pans.
I kinda relate to this story Because when my dad goes to my grandma's(my grandma is my legal guardian) he just stays in his room and never talks to his daughter- I mean son (I'm trans) he is an alcoholic
I should be proud that my dad is a hardworking dad who was always there for us. His not alchoholic nor does he smoke. I never knew how blessed i am with a dad like him❤️
I have a dad that left my mom for another woman and i knew how he is and that i forgot about him over this years and i live happily now without him me and my family had forgot him forever. Edit: i give myself likes and gives me hope to make my family great
I feel so bad for you! I experienced this with my bio dad and my step dad now. My step dad ridicules us and my bio dad was always drunk and he hurt my mom several times.
I mean it's an exaggeration but my alcoholic of a mum threw me out when I was 17 for 'leading her bf on' when I didn't even know him. So I guess that could count.
@Ali Bautista Yea sadly it did but at the moment I'm fine Ty for asking it's actually helped me to be more compassionate and more open minded I would say I've become a lot more accepting of other people and I have a job. Have a great day and I hope your doing great.
I can relate this with my brother, he always is in he's room locked, every time when I need help for my homework, I just look at his room to get help. I saw him sleeping and his room was a mess. Then one day, while I was doing the dishes, my brother came to me and says "Do you need help?" That kinda change my life, idk, it was so heartwarming.. Thank you for reading this far, Ily. Edit: thank you for poeple who liked, and comment! I thought many poeple would be lazy to read this all!! But ty!
I love the fact that all these vids r inspiring and that when ppl share their stories it makes them feel better ppl r rlly brave to be sharing their life story welldone 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️
It didn't happen to my father (well I'm not sure since my so called father was not part of my life) but this happened to my uncle and is still happening, he is shame
I know how it feels like, I never got to see my dad. He died when I was 2 years old. I mean I got to see him but I don't remember him cause I was a baby. I have a picture of me, him, and my mom at the park before he died. As I got older, I realised he wasn't there anymore. I was confused. I missed him. He used to sing a song to me everyone night. I missed that. I still cry sometimes if I think about how life would be life he still was here, he did drugs, he fought with my grandma and grandpa often, thats what they said. But I love it just how it is cause I know people are there for me no matter what! Also, I have my grandpa, who is like a dad to me. My mom doesn't live with me so I live with my grandma and grandpa, other grandma, uncle, and 3 pets. I realised that life soon gets better. I realised I will soon get to see my dad again in Heaven in a long time. Guys, life gets better no matter what situation it is. You're awesome! Alwyas remember that! You're you for you! Always accept that! Have a great day/evening/or night! :D :D much love -Becca! :D ❤️❤️❤️
Logic is my inspiration I know your pain.... I haven't seen my father for the past 12-13 years he never came back.... I guess you could say that I don't have one either....
I'm so glad that this channel exists!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Edit - omg ty story booth for heartiness, but I really do believe it's important and really talented that you know how to cartoon this!!
I feel so sorry for anyone who has or had a terrible Dad I know exactly how you feel . My Dad was the type of guy who when our pet cat was run over before he buried it he told me and my little brother to come outside to say goodbye Sam our cat was in a pillowcase anyway Dad told us that to say a proper goodbye we should open the pillowcase and that Sam was just sleeping so I opened it and it was like a bag of blood and bones a horrible sight me and my little brother both started crying which made my Dad howl with laughter . I remember too the dog we had when I was about 7 or 8 he done the toilet in the house one day and Dad was going mad so he took him outside and we never saw him again .When I was a bit older I asked Mum what had happened and she told me that Dad had hung the dog from a tree in our garden .My Mums American so being an only child when my Nan died she had to go home to organise the funeral and make sure things were alright . Dad was supposed to look after us but as soon as Mum left he was gone so for a week an 8 year old me had to look after my 6 year old little brother who has Aspbergers and my little sister who had just turned two . Between the 3 of us there are over 100 maybe close to 200 cigarette burns on our bodies my Dad was a horrid man . I think the problem was because we were reasonably well off and had a nice house from the outside everything must have seemed fine but maybe if we were poorer social services would have helped . Sorry x a million that this is too long and it's all me me me but I've never told anyone this before . I left out loads of really horrible stuff that happened but it's still too long sorry 💗
I love how storybooth lets kids, teens, and even adults share a story from their lives, it can help others in the same situation! This is an amazing channel...and happy new year storybooth!😍❤
@@memepig7318 they sometimes argue about some shitty things and sometimes our mom leaves us and theyve been fighting for 5 years. now theyre divorced. And almost everyday i cry about it. Idk why tho but im like that.
ThAnK u so much for sharing this video... I can understand this becoz I too had a similar dad.. he was not a alcoholic person neither had any bad habits...but he was never there for me.. he just married my mom as a formality never cared for her and after I was born he wasn't there to see me as he was just roaming, lazy person who didn't wanted to work for his wife and daughter and just wanted to enjoy his life... I'm all here becoz of mom.... she soon realized that this person is just a trouble in our life and broke all knots and gave me freedom from a selfish person and works hard to give me a better life... I ❤u mom...and I'll surely reach the position where my mom wants me and even if that greedy man ever tries to enter in our lives I woUld kick him out becoz for me there is no one so called father.. my mom is both for me.........sorry for extending I know it's too much to read but I feel so relevied right now after sharing this heavy secret of my life. Thank u once again.
I have had a similar childhood, but the differences are that my dad would hurt my mum sometimes, he’d sell everything, he would be out almost every night, and did nothing for me or my mum whatsoever. He had a mental illness, and still does. It causes him to think like nobody else, to lie, to think everything should go his was and follow his plan. He did cheat on my mum, that’s for certain, but I don’t know how many times. My dad influenced me a lot, because I was living with him when I was in primary school, but the arguments I experienced when I was living with him eventually led to me threatening somebody in year six, somebody that I was ARGUING with. My mum gave birth to another girl, but while pregnant with my sister she went through a lot of stress, didn’t eat much, and constantly argued with my dad, meaning that my sister heard it all and felt what my mum was feeling. When she was born, my mum was invited on a lady’s night out for 3 hours or so, but when she was out my dad got angry with my sister, putting her in a carseat on the bed while he practically threw her cot down the stairs, breaking some of it apart afterwards. I ran into my room, and hid in a corner, crying, but then my dad stormed up the stairs, noticed, and said to me ‘It’s alright, you don’t need to cry.’ I remember it so clearly, even though I want to forget it.. Anyways, my dad used to always demand weed, because he smokes it and never stops. Now, I’m moving into year eight, while he’s homeless, living in shelters and then getting kicked out because he’s caused argument after argument. My self esteem and confidence eventually got so low in year five that I had to have a mentor, to take my mind off of family problems and to ease stress in general. It’s been over a year, but I just can’t forget about him and it causes me to get emotional often. It breaks my heart, knowing that he doesn’t care about me as I care about him.. (If you experience similar things at home, or at least things that are affecting you in some way, don’t be afraid to talk to somebody about it, because you’re beautiful, and worth it. Cherish every second that you are alive for, and remember that I love you, whoever is reading this.)
I wanna hug this girl so bad because so many people have the same problem like me, but atleast this girl finally got the courage to speak up and recover from her problems😊
Storybooth: Actually heartwarming and heartbreaking story's of things people had to go through Other channels: Jesus told me to kill the president! (If you get the reference your amazing)
Or sometimes it'll be some $hit like "I'm 16 and I stole my baby sibling's diaper because my parents loved him/her more than me" or "I got pregnant in preschool" or "I'm romantically in love with my grandpa" or "I have 10 boyfriends but they all cheated on me and I'm so hurt" 😒😒😒
I barely even know my dad.I’m 13,the last time i saw him was like when i was 4 or 5.He didn’t even once call and say,”Hey,how are you?”.Nor did he even buy me any birthday/Christmas presents. The truth is,I really don’t care about the gifts. All i wanted was a daddy...who called me his “little girl”.Last year,I wanted to get to know him better so i told my mom i wanted to go see him. When we knocked on the door, his mom(aka my grandma) opened the door. She said,”He’s dead”.Those words hit me like a bus.The pain i felt was tremendous and i couldn’t even speak or do anything but cry.It was like i was buried underground and no one heard me.We were 2 months late from seeing him, before he passed. For those without a father figure, you’re not alone.
I am loved by my mom and dad so much and I'm very grateful for that. If your going through what this girl was going through just remember that your loved no matter what even if it doesn't seem like it and you will always be loved by someone ❤️❤️ and stay strong 💪
My father was never there for me and he's still not in my life now, but now I realized I don't need him. I can live my life without him and I am also very lucky I at least had my mother in my life to take care if me. 🙃
My dad was an alcoholic and he passed away when I was five. When he was alive he had to take care of me while my mom was working. He would always pass out/go to sleep (either one) and I would get frustrated sometimes because I didn’t know how to take care of myself. My mom would leave me little activities to do everyday.(I forgot to mention I was pretty poor) My mom would feel so scared to leave me with my dad but we didn’t know anyone who can babysit me. Once he died we moved in with my grandma for 2 years. (I was 6 and 7) Luckily my grandma was super sweet and didn’t make us pay to live there or for really anything. My mom got her masters degree and got a promotion for working a lot. So now that I’m 11 we’ve had a new house that my mom customized, an amazing step dad, and an adorable little sister. I’m not trying to brag or anything but now my mom has way more money than before. I just wanted to say that if you’re going through something like this just keep working hard and something good will come your way even if it feels impossible. Have a nice day and stay positive!!😊😊❤️💕💗 (I hope what I said made sense)💗
Giselle G. You made a lot sense! I’m proud of your Mum (Even though I dont know her) but all those times when she was scared to leave you with your dad, it payed out! I’m also sorry about your father... but did he hurt you and your mother? Idk but I hope you have a great life!
I'm not sure if your losing a lot cause it doesn't sound realistic like how did you get a step dad that fast and you told us too much things you would not even know like how do you even know how much your mum is paid do you go steal your mum's money at night and get drunk?!
Really speaks out to me, especially since I'm living through almost the exact same thing except with a mom unwilling to stand up for me. To everyone who has family problems, I hope everyone's family's soon are full of peace and bliss. Stay strong, guys. You'll get through this, you matter and you can do this. Much love and take care.
This is so scary. I watched this for the first time a few years ago and since I was younger I didn’t realize how painful this can be. I feel terrible for her. I hope she’s doing better now ❤️
Same and i dont have frends beacuse of mi mom she didnt have frends and she. Doset want me to have any because she didn't have any. And she even took me out of scool. Cuz. I was having friends know om jost. In the house al day foing nothing.. 😭
I can't imagine this, but I'm thankful that I had a perfect dad. Yeah, he had some anger issues and depression. I also heard my parents fight a lot. My mom thought my dad was cheating on her and vise versa. Then he went to the hospital, and went into cardiac arrest. He recovered, but was put on hospice care. Less than a week after he died. I was heartbroken. This was a few weeks ago, and I'm still in denial a bit. I am 12 years old, and I just want to say that spend as much time as you can. My dad will not be there when I turn of age, and he won't be there to walk me down the Isle when it comes to it, and that's hard, but try to have a good relationship with your family because you may not know how long it may last. I don't want anyone to have to suffer the pain and grief that I went through. I spent most of my time in my room with headphones because I didn't want to hear my dad yell or my mom tell too. That, I regret. There are many things I regret not saying to my dad, but I wish I could tell him I love him one more time. Please whatever the circumstances, tell your parents that you love them everyday because one day you might be on your own without them, and that is a kind of pain that you may never fully recover from. Also if they smoke tell em to stop because that had a factor in my dad's death
I am glad that I have a loving family thank u for sharing this I can't believe what u have gone through at this age may god bring u peace and happeness
sorry for you're loss I'm also 12 years old and it is hard I even though my dad is OK my grandma was all it meant I was heartbroken when she died last year even though I couldn't see her in real life 3 days before she died I called her she doesn't remember me as I have 6 siblings and she hasn't seen me face to face but pictures of me trust I know how it feel I had cryed for days I hid my emotional from my mom because of every thing I say or my sibling say she would start crying all over again .rest in peace our loved ones 💙💖💕💕✨
My dad was never abusive. But he left with no explanation. My mom and brother caught him with this lady one day and I never believed them until my friends started saying they saw the same thing. He and my mom may be apart now but it still hurts. I ask myself everyday why he would just leave me when in the past, he would visit from work, and he even went to England just so we could have money. So I'm wondering what changed, and if it was my fault for being a terrible child.. Or my brother for being annoying. I wouldn't dare stand up to him for some reason, I just can't help but love him still.
My dad died when I was six years old and I am still recovering, and when you said the part where your friends had great dads that would would spend time with them and things like that, I feel the same way even today. And the way my dad died was because... well he decided to do bad decisions in life, like smoking and drinking
This is like scarily similar to what my situation used to be. My dad was a strong alcoholic and abused me, my mom, and my 3 other siblings. I remember being 10 and crying in my room because my dad yelled at the top of his lungs or he hit me a little too hard this time. He was on top of my mom, punching her chest while she was screaming. I could write a novel about everything that happened, but I’m pretty sure you don’t wanna read a whole novel lol. These types of videos always hit close to home, but this one bring back real memories. They’re divorced now and I’m in a much better place than I was a year ago. I have an amazing step dad who makes up for the past 13 years of tyranny. Don’t let up, because there’s always a ray of light at the end of the dark road.
She’s so well spoken. I really hope she’s doing better, and that her dad is in his right mind now.
nah hah 😂

Hope your dad watches this so he can learn how bad he was

My Story Animated: My cat gave birth to my step aunt

Cherish every second that you are alive for, and remember that I love you, whoever is reading this.)
your story is similar to mine but my sister was born before me and we saw him all nyt

Jodie Mills thank you and he would yell at my mom but if he saw me he would stop so luckily he never hurt me❤️
Victorious Gray thank you very much and I wish the same for you😊❤️
I'm not sure if your losing a lot cause it doesn't sound realistic like how did you get a step dad that fast and you told us too much things you would not even know like how do you even know how much your mum is paid do you go steal your mum's money at night and get drunk?!

Hello I’m Ari I can relate
me too
But ya mom NEEDS him
I can't imagine this, but I'm thankful that I had a perfect dad.

Yep

You stay STRONG your so brave and just still at least love your dad.📿💖
