Bruh, he outplayed Light and Owgwen in the playoffs. Even Owgwen, the best roamer in PH, said in his interview that Jaypee gave him a hard time because of his adjustments in the playoffs. Jaypee is just the perfect fit for Echo. You cannot simply put any roamer for Liquid because they need to follow Karltzy, and it is not an easy task.
you are obviously a yawi fan lol yawi was amazing in m4 but his playstyle has become too predictable and risky specially with supports that can prevent pickoffs. jaypee as a roamer is very flexible allowing echo a variant of strategies
@@robingregorio172 i am not a yawi fan.. just mlbb fan. jaypee doesnt have an x factor qualities. its a fact tho. compared to the sansan duo. which really carry their game. karl do have great shot call. benny know how to position himself. is jaypee greater than light? nope. i think renejay is even greater than jaypee individually. if jaypee is out.. echo still a contender. but if 1 of sansan duo or karl is out. thats a bad situation for echo.

@@howbi62 Not related to the previous guy's comment but here's my take: You know Yawi's issue last M4? Since he did win M4 that time, there was really no evident "karma" that he experienced. In my own opinion, I think his karma striked late which is why he was led to leave Echo eventually.
Nope, still couldn't convince me that Jaypee is better than Yawi. Jaypee wins but Yawi wins with style. ECHO was called House of Highlights back in M4 because of how good ECHO Yawi was. I'm so glad that ECHO changed to LIQUID because instead of Jaypee shining as an Echo player, he'll shine as a Liquid player. Yawi is still the better tank initiator for me. In my opinion, Team Echo was better in hero pick-offs and Team Liquid now is better in engage-disengages.
You're forgetting that the 11-0 Echo was pickoff meta because of Jaypee's heroes like Kaja and Franco. They're still the House of Highlights if you watched S13 Grand Finals.

Everyone knows that Yawi is one of the top roamers in the world and an even better player than Jaypee. However, Jaypee is the perfect fit for Liquid's new strategy. Additionally, Jaypee follows Karltzy's commands, which is key for the team.

nope, still can't convince me. If TLPH wins an M-series with Jaypee on it, then, I'll start believing. Right now, all I see is Jaypee's average roamer and Yawi has a lesser hero pool but high effectivity in few ones.
