- Overview video encompassing three iterations of Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) New Student Indoctrination (NSI) 2022, June 10-Aug. 8. The midshipmen started their freshman year of the NROTC program at colleges and universities nationwide this fall. NSI is an indoctrination program hosted at RTC, and provides midshipmen with a common military training orientation. NSI provides basic training in five warfighting fundamentals - firefighting, damage control, seamanship, watchstanding and small arms handling and marksmanship - to begin creating basically trained and smartly disciplined future Navy and Marine Corps officers.

OORAH Cycle 3 bravo 1 ladies!!! Finished strong.
Hooyah cycle 2!! Especially to my guys from bravo 1.
Here's a question on the daily schedule at New Student Indoc. Seems like a lot of information to cover in a very short time. Is there any restricted liberty built into the program for things like Sunday church, trips to the barbershop, etc, or are all of the 19-days training days?
The only restricted liberty was for church and it was extremely limited. You got walked there, you got walked back and then you went back to your compartment. But if I wasn't religious and didn't go to church, I was still learning, memorizing, working on my uniform, something was always happening.
@@elizabethdonner5240 Thank you. I (correctly it seems) assumed with only 19-days scheduled that they'd be trying to keep things moving
It’s Boot Camp for two weeks. There is no liberty other that what was previously mentioned for Church.
