I'm Kenyan and I can confidently tell you that the demonstrators were peaceful
True,kweli kabisa
This is proof that African Politicians are just cut from the same cloth. From Kenya to Ghana 😂😂
Don’t forget they also have the same leader🤦🏾♂️
They're that way by design, the post-independence African elite take pride in their crassnes and stupidity, at this point, it beyond the two aforementioned adjectives, it's pure unadulterated cruelty, they derive satisfaction by making us suffer.
Western puppets who could care less about Africa.
Karis you said it so well.
Please tell the corrupt politicians in Ghana that the writing is on the wall, the Ghana young youths will bring revolution. From Kenya with love
Violence had nothing to do with the protests in Kenya until the police started firing tear gas and water cannons.
I wish to agree with you but i cant , shops were looted , invading parliament isnt a very peaceful thing to do, burning bussinesses and homes isnt peaceful,.i support the protests but claiming they were peaceful is being hypocritical
@@williamwatitwa3534 Nobody denies that violence did not take place but that only happened when the protestors were infiltrated by 'non- protestors' who's aim was to take advantage of the protest. Real protestors were handing in rose flowers to the security officer .
@williamwatitwa3534 This just shows you don't know anything about the protest in Kenya, all those things started you mentioned were caused by police starting shooting and kidnapping protesters but it was a peaceful protest that started days before that Tuesday when things escalated. I think you only saw the last protest only that's why.
Shops were looted by goo s hired by the ruling government .@@williamwatitwa3534
Kenyans were peacefully protesting, the Police were rioting.
I'm a Kenyan and poor people can't be funding politicians expensive life styles by taxing them freedom is never negotiated.
i feel sorry for Ghana 6th world largest producer of Gold and nothing to show of it
U hv a point that Ghana has a way of solving issues but listen carefully these Ghanaian politicians cups are full...u are funny, do you know wat people are planning to do becos of wat they are going through...if you come out boldly to even sabotage bad policies, these politicians tends to attack and even threatening their family as well....I hv made little investigation abt Ghana's resources, magnesium and gold alone can develop Ghana without using our crude oil, bauxite, diamond, timber, rose tree, and many others but all these money goes into their pockets...not that ppl are not making effort but GHC 5.00, some ppl don't have...think about pls...at least be selfless like Nkrumah....
We don't fear death in Kenya. What is the essence of living in a hopeless situation in Kenya. These demagogues are busy killing children in Kenya and branding them terrorists. In Chapter one of the Kenyan constitution it states that Power belongs to the people and they can exercise it directly or through their elected leaders. What is wrong when they choose to exercise it directly?
You are waiting freedom to be handed to u by thieves and crooks 😂😂😂 u will wait till the second coming of Jesus
Jesus was hanged over 2000 years ago which means these people will live in bondage till the day climate change will destroy planet earth.
Ghana is worse off economically than Kenya in all aspects... But Gjanaian prefer to tow the line and pray.... Kenyan just won't jump and curl at the corner as the government mismanage the economy...
I agree … religion has pacified ghana
Ask an ordinary Kenyan and you will understand that the sufferings of ordinary Kenyans and Ghanians is the same
Freedom will never be given to you my friend
These African politicians, if you wait for them to change, you will die on your knees. Africa, rise up. Freedom will not be dished out
Ghanaians should know freedom, fairness and economic empowerment is not something you will wait to be given by your government but you have fight and demand it. We don't wait to be give by those in power in Kenya but we demand it and fight for it. Wake up our brothers and sisters in Ghana 🇬🇭
Very well said. Freedom is not given . It is FORCEFULLY TAKEN.
Ghanaians always fight and when the time is right u don’t know nothing about Ghana even Kenya we fought for u ppl too and help u a lot if u don’t know go find out we are waiting for our president to leave office this year
@@julianaansah6367 Give us a break. When did you ever fight for your rights? You cowards.
@@julianaansah6367 you fought for Kenya 🇰🇪?
Ghanaians are on a brainwash pill 😂😂
Revolution comes with blood
My sisters I’m from Kenya and one thing you guys should understand is this people in power don’t listen and if you don’t act 10:13 they’ll never do what’s right. I don’t advocate violence but freedom is not given it’s taken from the people who rob you.
Kenya takes the day
Those are some of the key items being pointed out in kenya
No power without blood..Ghana leadership to watch out..
Economic freedom must be fought for in the motherland...peace and love from KE
Freedom isn't negotiated it's taken
Kenya is not a typical African country.
The course is just and we are still ready to defend our rights and sovereignty with our blood...the impunity must stop...from Kenya
These ladies need to understand that Ghana is in deeper debt than Kenya and their country is doing worse economically that Kenya!
True my sister feel loved from kenya
Kijana
We in kenya NEVER used violence
In Kenya we say "better die on feet than die kneeling"
Genz allover Africa should not accept bad governance or the African renaissance will forever remain a dream.
Even Jerry Rawlings the soldier couldn't stop the endemic corruption in Ghana by getting rid of the old political punks but all many Ghanaians were doing before is badmouthing Nigerians whilst they in Ghana were suffering and smiling themselves smh
I'm Kenyan🇰🇪, the protests were peaceful they were even chanting "we are peaceful" but the police were using force to stop the protestors plus unscrupulous politicians funding goons to disrupt the protest so as to discredit the validity of the movement...hence the violent results. It is tough when the government doesn't want to listen and uses police brutality to silence citizens. The government wanted to ignore the protest proceed putting in place the unfair finance bill that has external influence which was even backing the government to proceed and ignore the cry of its citizens. That is the evil world we are living in.Note we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities of darkness and wickedness
an "E-LEVY" cake?! wow😳 the audacity
so ruto copied the finance bill from Ghana aaa chaleee masaaa ruto when you use mwakenya please dont copy everything even try to change their names
the imf copy paste it through out Africa
The finance bill was not created by Him, it's an IMF Template.
Ghanaians it’s that time you get what is yours
You continue talking we shall see what will change in your country
Kenyans have been tolerating greedy leaders for too long and now have come to the point of ENOUGH the time is NOW..greedy leaders will not see peace as poor citizens continue to suffer and pay for their sins as they embezzle funds..if you think Ghana will continue to just watch when being ovewhelmed.. think again...Ghana is headed there. Very soon. Silence cannot be mistaken for weakness...it is the element that builds pressure in secret. Wait you will be having a different conversation. The previous Kenyan generations didn't even see this coming.. Don't say Ghanaians are tired they can't do this or that ... speak for yourselves .
POWER is not GIVEN, it's taken........in the whole of Africa, there isn't a president who is drunk with POWER like Ruto, but now the guy is in state house liking his self inflicted wounds. Greatings from Kenya
Almost all African presidents are power drunk and corrupt.
Going to the streets ànd holding peaceful protests are protected by the Kenyan constitution. It's the police that turn it violent. But we Kenyans we don't fear. People's power must be heard and respected. That's why we Kenyans don't fear anything after all it's us who put those politicians in office.
Please don't compare Kenyans protest with Ghanas. They have already achieved progress. Most revolutions have had people lost their lives including famous Martin luther and Gandhi
Oh wow
That's y Ghana can never be kenya
My brothers and sisters in Ghana, enough is enough.Go on streets and practice your right of picketing and demonstrating. The situation in Ghana is worse than it is in Kenya.
8:03 Why does this girl feel she is wise to defend everything? Is she alright at all?
Does she think we are all from Kumasi
😂😂😂😂😂😊
Kwasiaaaa
@@julianaansah6367 It go pain you papa
Ghana must rise up because things are only going to get worse with these thieves in government
That Ghanean doctor is lucky we have bigger issues at hand now!!! If we focus on him for 2 days, hel go mental
Ghana stand up for your rights, these African leaders have taken us for a ride for far too long.
Wow!!! I am not from Ghana and I am Kenyan, I swear I have just seen a green e-levi cake. This white t-shirt politician should go home....VIVA AFRICA
A cake😂😂😂 that's serious.....I don't think Kenyan majority leader can try that
The demonstrations in Kenya currently are very different. The youths are not violent, they're airing their opinions. Police were used to cause unrest to lose the real intention.
The day your fear will end you ghana people will test freedom.#politicians will not believe
This woman in White shirt is a typical Ghanian mentality. Before the Kenyan Gen Zs went to demonstrate in the streets Kenya had exhausted all diplomatic and legal avenues. Countless dialogues and national conference.Unlike Ghana , Kenya and South Africa have history of fighting liberation Wars against the British and White colonialism. Cowardice will never help Ghana.
It had to go to this..Violent protests cause Ruto is arrogant and stubborn and we knew he wont listen, very bad combination...
Viva Kenya,Viva Gen z..
after kenya we are coming to ghana
what kind of govt imposes tax on our women for ps
nonsence....ghanian men you need to fight for your women
Freedom is not given its taken
Wait, so you will sit on your hands and wait for a new crop of leaders to change your situation? Really. I change is never given, it is demanded, i am not calling for protest but if all avenues fail, you are left with very few options and at that point you do what you have to defend your rights, your country and your family.
This loud lady doesnt seem to have understood the Kenyan demonstrations well. These demonstrations were peaceful until the police used excessive force. But if you are not a coward when force is used against you you move on but not surrender. Kenyans are not cowards especially when they know their rights according to their constitution.
So Ghanaians you still want talks in your own country
Freedom is not free Ghanians, live free or die we say in Kenya
Tell the lady ..... she doesn't know what freedom means to her......😢 Am sad to the Ghanaian if she has that experience to analyze......I wish her to come and see what freedom means to us.#FREEDOM OF SPEECH
#RUTO MUST GO
#FREEDOM OF REVOLUTION
wait freedom from who? political class!
This type of politician think that citizens have bird brains,"who celebrate e-levy with cake"
continue eating kickbacks
Dictators don't need a peaceful approach.
Honey honey what! that lady is annoying! She must be in the government.
The young Kenyans - our beloved Gen. Zs - protested peacefully only with their phones and bottles of water. And they said it loud and clear -“We are coming in peace!” It is the arrogant and deplorable Kenyan (by extension Africa police) that were busy looting and engaging in violence. They planted goons to give the Youthful protesters a bad wrap. Didn’t work because Kenyans are too smart to buy into the political class’s rotten agenda. Ghanaian youth have a chance to change the course of their country. You have to fight. The political class will not hand anything over to you on a silver platter.
r u from africa or u come to ghana last night david kenya
You have to put your balls on the chopping board if you really want freedom
Kenya is democracy on steroids not even the US has anything on this type of high grade democracy ❤
Get to the streets my Ghanian people. The people in power won't listen untill you make it uncomfortable for them. Us kenyans we've been talking for so long and we got tired and hit the streets and thats when we saw some results. You'll get nothing sitting pretty and wishing 😂😂
Ghananians lose your fear. Is this an interview or a conversation? You should demand better.
This lady with something black on her head, should replace it with knowledge about his country..
Who are these ladies
😂
The biggest problem in Ghana is Parliament full stop . They are not doing their job. Although Bagbin is trying ,he is being frustrated by his both sides, it is disgusting
im from kenya and i carry an advice for you
right now we are visiting mps who voted yes to the finance bill in their own back ground.....its working
Pay a visit to that parliament.Change things for yourselves don't wait for those looters to ever behave and leave their expensive lifestyles for you.Make them behave
Stop your nonsence...we were not violent and if we were ,what was the reaction of the police.leave KENYA ALONE AND FOCUS ON YOUR GHANA.
