Eren yeager is the most misunderstood character in anime right now sincehe beatedarmin and told mikasa he hated her, also locking up hange and mostof thescouts. He's just tired of everything and people dying for him and now doing anything to protect armin and mikasa.
Now that I think about it, there's a plot hole in the beginning of the first season, eren graduated the training corps at that point in time so he was already a titan shifter, when he went to kill the titan that ate thomas why didn't he turn into a titan? He had a wound which was a missing leg, and he had a reason, which was to save/avenge Thomas, so why didn't he turn into a titan right then and there?
the power of the titans is not fully understood still but i believe(this is my opinion) it sensed erens intent and because eren didnt have the concious thought of activating the power it didnt
