Im Orthodox Christian and the sister of a parishioner is goth. Tradition is women wear skirts to church and cover their heads. The goth sister lives a few states over but will visit occasionally. She wears fishnets and mini skirts and black lace headcover, chokers with spikes, platform combat boots to church. I love it. She comes as she is.
I'm glad to see this, kinda sad u gotta call urself orthodox due to whatever is going on with certain Christians, but it's really cool that she is allowed to do that

Honestly I love goths. They're usually the most cool, chill people you'll meet. I think that's a theme in the alt people in general, they know what it's like to feel other. That and they know how important it is to be true to yourself however that comes about.

I adore "What's This?" from A Nightmare Before Christmas, so a zillion points for that, right off the bat. There were hilarious scenes in all of them, but the beach and the amusement park were great (special chef's kiss for the ukulele/guitar scene in camping, though). We need more in this series.

The funny thing about all this for me is that all of these activities can easily be beautifully adjusted to a goth aesthetic. I’d paint the bike black, make the handlebars look like bones with a skull basket in front, and a small cart off the back that says “Bring out your dead!”
