The IMPORTANT Part in ALL of this... IS Retroblasting/Michael taking on this assignment.. On one hand, it's sad to the length and resources Michael/Melinda had to go through to PROVE CERTAIN people wrong. On the OTHER hand it goes to show WHY Retroblasting is OUR place. Retroblasting represents US.. individuals that grew up loving these toys, went on to become educated, professionals, have families of our own.. Retroblasting Represents US, regardless of color/faith/class...Representing the heart , character US fans have carried over into adulthood. A tear is brought to my eye by this. Its the talk of childhood and toys out of reach, that despite the difference in years (I'm a child of the early 2000s) that kicks up a nostalgic sadness in a recent High School Graduate.
This is not B.S. I had the same problem and I'm from Sydney, the East coast and my barge is at a friend of my brother in law's house in California. My barge will come in September when my brother in law attends his friend's wedding. So no.....this story is very true unfortunately.
@Tony Nasser Cool, when I backed the Barge I was wondering if they would release it for Australia ( although you got it on ebay) and they did, along with Europe. Did you get the making of the Barge booklet too?. That is one thing I got thru Hasbro easily.
@Tony Nasser I had the same thought.....now or never basically. Don't worry man because money comes and goes and this is a dream Star Wars vehicle in the making from 1983. I just bought a 1980 Hankin The Empire strikes back pinball machine last month and I don't regret a thing as it's very rare only 350 made here in Australia. If you want it bad enough, don't procrastinate about getting it as it may pass you by.....just get it. Just waiting for my Sail barge now lol.
While this is an extremely thoughtful gesture, it will also go down as one of the biggest "fuck you's" in RUclips history. Michael traveled all the way to Australia to deliver, not just a toy, but to also deliver his middle finger to all the naysayers. Brilliant.

A tear is brought to my eye by this. Its the talk of childhood and toys out of reach, that despite the difference in years (I'm a child of the early 2000s) that kicks up a nostalgic sadness in a recent High School Graduate.

This is not B.S. I had the same problem and I'm from Sydney, the East coast and my barge is at a friend of my brother in law's house in California. My barge will come in September when my brother in law attends his friend's wedding. So no.....this story is very true unfortunately.

@Tony Nasser Cool, when I backed the Barge I was wondering if they would release it for Australia ( although you got it on ebay) and they did, along with Europe. Did you get the making of the Barge booklet too?. That is one thing I got thru Hasbro easily.

@Tony Nasser I had the same thought.....now or never basically. Don't worry man because money comes and goes and this is a dream Star Wars vehicle in the making from 1983. I just bought a 1980 Hankin The Empire strikes back pinball machine last month and I don't regret a thing as it's very rare only 350 made here in Australia. If you want it bad enough, don't procrastinate about getting it as it may pass you by.....just get it. Just waiting for my Sail barge now lol.
While this is an extremely thoughtful gesture, it will also go down as one of the biggest "fuck you's" in RUclips history. Michael traveled all the way to Australia to deliver, not just a toy, but to also deliver his middle finger to all the naysayers. Brilliant.
