    Keep up the good work! I got one of those 1100 for 300 with a full new engine in a box. Now I am going to build a mini jet boat out of the donor parts

      I think that’s what I paid originally for this way back 2 years ago, I had to put in a lot of hrs getting it to the shape it’s in now, rebuilt carbs and fixed a bunch of other small issues, didn’t come with a trailer I just wanted it for the engine but couldn’t bring myself to disassemble it after I got it all going. It’s a great starter ski for a family for sure

      @@Trevorkloida yeah I have a friend sending over a Yamaha jet boat with some 1100 in it that need carb work.

      I recently got a carb adjuster screwdriver from Amazon the worked a lot better than other options, “pilot screw adjusting tool”

      Hey, I have that same jet ski, 1100cv wave venture, it keep out leaking fuel all inside the ski. After the season is over. I can’t find it, any ideas where is coming from?

      I’ve heard of some gas tank seams coming apart, I wonder if that’s your issue? I’m sure you already checked all your fuel lines? Or if the filler neck is cracked or not tight onto the gas tank… I’m curious now! Let me know what you find!!!

    If this were a few years ago, I'd be all about buying that to pull the engine, haha... but currently I have lots of projects. ❤ Triples !!

    Looking at buying this JetSki in South Carolina not sure if it’s gonna be a huge headache and the cost involved. Any knowledge would appreciate it. Thank you.

    Ski is in great condition. Only issue is that it is rev limited (will start but will not run up to maximum RPMs). It has been looked at and expect the stator or CDI needs to be replaced. Trailer included.

      @@Dizdancinnow might be a bad temp sensor, if you see flow of water out of the “pisser” front left side of the ski. Just unplug the temp sensor. I’ve seen that before

    I got a free yamaha jetski with no motor or paperwork. I am trying to figure out how to couple to the shaft for a custom boat I'm building, and just not sure what motor used to be in it, or what year it is. It has "ST" on it, but no other numbers I can find, and at this point I've cut it down to just the bottom hull with the jet. It has 5 roundy rubber coupler on the input. I think it was a 3-cyl, which seems to indicate a 1100 or 1200, but the coupler seems wrong for those engines. any help appreciated. btw, it has reverse on the jet, my guess its a 1995 wave runner, but just a guess. It has smaller side mirrors on the sides. It is like 10ft long, so a 2 or 3 seater I'd guess.

      Would have prob had a 900 or 1100 triple in it

      @murraymadness4674 6 месяцев назад

      It seems it was a 93 WaveRunner with a 701, as it looks the same and one I saw had reverse and seems this also has the roundy coupler with 3 jaws (and not five, 3 each side, so six total).
      I appreciate your inputs. I've had a couple kawasaki's and a seadoo, never a yamaha.

    I have this exact 1100. It’s not starting. It has been run in about 6 years due to bad knees and knee replacements. Can you tell me how you put gas and oil in the carbs.

    • @Trevorkloida
      @Trevorkloida  8 месяцев назад

      If it hasn’t been ran in that long the fuel and oil system should be cleaned… it’s probably best to have someone go over it, could cause major damage if you don’t have it done right
