I absolutely did learn some very useful info. I really like your "Follower" tips as I use the Enchantress for her look, and wacky dialog and like your take on using the "Follower" you like best as there gear is the most important aspect. There are many other very useful tips in your thorough comprehensive presentation. Thanks a million !!

Not only is this the best D3 guide I've ever seen - this might be the most well organized, constructed, and informative video I have ever seen. I greatly appreciate the time, energy, and effort put into this. I'm a returning casual player and I've learned so much from this. My goal is to clear a level 150 GR during this season and I feel a hell of a lot more confident on where to begin lol.

Hey Rax! You always deliver, mate, it's unreal! When I saw you'd uploaded this, I didn't watch it straight away! I waited till I got comfy at home, in front of the big TV with no1 around to distract me, and a nice beverage.
I have been playing D3 since release, thousands of hours. I've watched hundreds of videos, and I've piled up considerable knowledge of the game. Yet -- and I admit that happily -- I know for sure that with every single video you make, I learn something new. Every single time! Your content is unique. Stay amazing :)

I've watched a few videos from you in the past and this one made me hit the button. This is professional work, buddy. This video should pop up in every new player's Bnet window and I don't think I am exaggerating. I'm playing this game for many years, have almost 5k paragons in NS, doing regularly meta runs and still learned a few new ways to do things more efficiently.

  • @MerryLucious

FYI - Follower tip: I play DH Multishot (for farming) and Shadow (for pushing) I always use the Templar for the heal it provides. In order to overcome the 30-second cooldown on his heal, I equip him with gear in every slot. This will have a combined number of 4 sockets (two rings, amulet, and a weapon). Since gems are useless for followers. I roll the sockets to cooldown reduction. Combined with the "can't die" token and the heal rolling around quicker due to CDR. The templar is a more efficient healer. I can definitely tell the difference from solo play to group when I don't have my templar healing.

Dude! I'm playing Diablo since the very first Diablo game and playing diablo 3 since the launch day. I consider myself experienced hardcore player and playing each season a couple of months, climb to top 10 or the first page of the ladder and then get bored and quit till the next season because I hate fishing maps very much. Hate it, but without it you cant climb to the top.

6:40 regarding area damage, you consider on the example an increase from 100 to 910, which is amazing, but on a full proc of aod on 10 monsters, which is very unlikely. You'll hit on average with 2 aod procs on 10 monsters, giving you a total of 100+(0.90*100)*2=280 damage. This is already quite good, and aod is all the more impressive on larger densities, where you'll wreck everything. But to get a 9.1 multiplier on your damage, you need way more monsters than 10 (on average, 50).
Nice video, thanks a lot for all of this !

really great guide for new players! keep up the good work!
suggestion: consider making an in-depth rift guardian guide, their spawning and attack mechanics, and the usual strats for the major rgk builds

Have been looking out for this video ever since you mentioned it, really appreciate it. Would of loved some picture references in the map type rankings portion... I'm certain you thought of that and didn't do it for a good reason. Thanks again, this was a lot of work.

The honest answer daniel is I couldn't find good pictures of them. Then I took screenshots out of my clears then I thought they were terrible. Couldn't find a good solution :(

@@Raxxanterax Zero actual complaints, man. I'm quite a veteran player usually getting stuck somewhere in the 400s on the leaderboard and have always been ignorant to some of the more end game decision making while actually inside the rift. I didn't even know pylons spawned based off percentage and werent just predetermined when you opened the rift until this season. Be proud of this video.

Thanks buddy, this came at a perfect time. I have always thought pushing to be complicated, frustrating and not worth the extra trouble (mainly the gathering & randomness) and being happy to lvl and augment my gems to 110-115 but now it's time to try something new
this guide + seasonal buff + whirlrend seems like perfect timing

Hi Raxx. I know this is an old video, but just want to say thank you so much for this and your season 28 content.. I am a very casual player but I always try to do the best in all games that I play.. I am running a goblin blaster DH and having so much fun in S28. This guide and your augmenting guide has really helped me get my first 120 clear last night.. I am so happy. Thanks again for all your wonderfully put together guides..

Great video. It is videos like this that made me sub!
Only suggestions would be that some of the text was a bit close to the edge of the screen and it was a bit hard to read all of the text and listen to you on some of the busy slides.
However the amount of helpful information in this was fantastic as you go into details on some of the ares other people gloss over.
This makes the video very helpful to people like me who have been playing casually for years but never got into pushing greater rifts.
    Keep up the good work.

Super educative video definitely the best d3 guide video out there. I’ve been playing diablo for a few years now going for leaderboards but it cleared the air in so many topics what will definitely help me to get better results current and future seasons.
Very big thanks to you for all the hard work and videos you post as not many top ranked players care for sharing every detail of their toughts and gameplays to help other out:)
Keep up the good work we’re here to follow you! Thank you 🙏🏻
