I love this. It's the epitome of cuteness and positivity. I can't think of a song that better manages to make me smile. It's not something I would listen to on a daily basis, but from time to time it helps me to forget everything that pisses me off for five minutes. Music from a better world.

Great stuff - and as below, did you recognise Yui and Moa? They were doing this with Mini-Pati at the same time as they were performing with BABYMETAL ... both were sub-units of Sakura Gakuin although, as Rick Wagner has explained, Mini-Pati came first but with three different girls. They even had a ceremonial handing over of the neckerchiefs when Yui, Moa and Hana took their places.

The "lets tell the aliens to "eat up" line cracks me up every time. Not sure if you noticed but 2 out of the 3 are from BabyMetal. Yui in the Yellow neckerchief and Moa in the Green one. I can all but guarantee you this is why your patreon subscriber requested this song! On another note, if you can handle cuteness overload and honestly some pretty hilarious content, consider checking out more Sakura Gakuin content. Babymetal started as a "Club" in that group. I'd consider starting with the Nendo Tests. Can all but guarantee you'll enjoy them. The ones with the members of Babymetal are 2010-2014. Su is in the first 3. Just so you know, Sakura Gakuin is a rabbit hole that's hard to get out of if you enjoy the content.

I think watching Sakura Gakuin stuff may be a bit too much for him, some of it is fun, but most is boring and cringy, I watched it only becuase due to shortage of interviews and behind the scenes material, it's the only substitute to get a sense of the characters of Babymetal girls.
But I think he could enjoy "Everything You Need To Know About BABYMETAL - A BABYMETAL Guide (UPDATED)" by CrypticMysery.

I always thought Hana should have replaced Yui in BabyMetal after Yui left. The pre-BabyMetal stuff is pretty extensive, they even had a TV show..

That was the second generation of Mini-Pati in Sakura Gakuin.
Did you recognize Yui (yellow neckerchief) and Moa (green neckerchief)?
They were joined by Hana Taguchi wearing a red one.
The original version of this group actually preceded Sakura Gakuin and was a joint project by Amuse, Inc. and the Japanese government to promote healthy eating.
That configuration had Raura Iida, Marina Horiuchi and Nene Sugasaki.
All three became original Sakura Gakuin members where the group became an early sub-unit.
The producer who created Mini-Pati was Kei Kobayashi, best known for his project called BABYMETAL. : )

They say hamburger like that because it's a English loan word. They pronounce it hambaagaa - (ハンバーガー) that's what it sounds like in the Japanese phonetic system. There are a lot of loanwords in this song, and you might not even recognize most of them.

@@jefffromchicago6321 That's the only hit song by the legendary rock band, or comic band, 'Aladdin(アラジン)' from the 80's, 'The Perfect Rock and Roller (完全無欠のロックンローラー). I was in elementary school at that time. That's old, haha. I'm not sure about the video, but it says 'ANF', so I guess it is from 'All night Fuji', the popular mid night TV show at the time.

So plenty of people have pointed out 2 of the girls Moa and Yui, as being part of Babymetal.... Say what you want of them, but their hard work and dedication to their profession is incredible at their age.... being around 12 when they went in, they performed as Mini Patti, Twinklestars, Sakura Gakuin as a whole AND Babymetal all while still going to school.... Have you checked out CrypticMiserys Guide to Babymetal yet? You should take a look at the long version... Gives you a better idea as to what they girls had to work through to get where they are. 🤘🦊🤘🌸🌸🌸🌸

Ah yes, Moa's favourite topic to sing about - food and hamburgers. Mini-Pati actually predates Sakura Gakuin, but was made a sub-unit of Sakura Gakuin as the "cooking club". Kei Kobayasi produces both Mini-Pati and Babymetal, however for some reason Mini-Pati was never as successful as Babymetal ;-). It's an interesting performance to watch as you can actually hear that Moa and Yui have pretty good singing voices with material that doesn't force them out of their vocal comfort zones. You might now want to investigate some more Sakura Gakuin.
