great closedown, unfortunately 'crime together we'll crack it' never did work in the long run for britain.
Yes. But it was a laudable ambition. Never mind, eh?😆
The affected film was Midnight Run, rather than Jaws
It seems crazy that BBC used to shut down sky 1 goes into an infomercial
In the UK, a PIV ends with a vocal announcement: "and that was a public information film". In the Philippines, a political advert ends with a full-screen slide with text: "This is a paid advertisement".
"If you live in the North West and are served by our Winter Hill transmitter, y'all can bite me."
*crunch*
Closedown for Tuesday 3th September 1991
"Hoofed it off"???
BBC1 closedown in 1991 and it's not even 12.05am. Shocking.
It's because they would have to pay fees when they go overtime. They didn't start closing down later until around 1993/94.
Odd. I liked the tune at the end, though. It reminded me of my small USB keyboard and nearly all the notes are on the white keys, which makes learning to play it much easier. I'll say.
Ooo crime watch file, and it’s the Karen Price case. My favourite!
Your Announcer is David Miles
3:20: CRIME - Together we'll crack it!
