I’ve tried Milani, covergirl, and Nyx lip oils too and I agree Milani’s are my favorite! The new lychee shade is my absolute favorite because the scent PERFECTLY captures lychee
I'm so glad to hear someone talking about those elf lipliners! I love them - I think it's the best design that balances your ability to get a good line with also being able to fill in the whole lip if you like that look. I also 100% agree about the elf Lash n' Roll. I WANT THEM TO MAKE A WATERPROOF VERSION SO FLIPPING BAD. It's so soft and gorgeous looking!
The Catrice foundations, concealers, lip liners and their oil infused blush are my holy grails! The Essence highlighters as well. Now Flower Beauty I haven’t tried yet, so I need to get my hands on their products. 💕
I have an old formula of a catrice blush in burgundy that I don’t think is made anymore. I have literally been using as an everyday blush for over two years and you can barely tell I’ve used it. It’s my fave blush in my collection!
I’m generally only a tubing mascara person, but my exception is that elf lash and roll mascara, the look it gives is worth it not being a tubing formula
@@pinkbubblesnake my fav is the thrive one, the milani one is decent, been trying out the Clio kill lash 04 extreme volume, and that one is pretty good!
I kept my elf lash n roll mascara wand after I threw out my last tube. I use it as a lash separator for my favorite tubing mascara. (Of course I was it regularly.)
Oooo this is such a fun video idea I’m so excited to hear what they are….also your hair looks phenomenal! I love the color and layers it’s so voluminous 💛
I like the milani ones but I like the color payoff of the fat oil ones better. Still not as pigmented as wearing a full out lipstick, but I like them for when I want to actually wear a lip color 💄
@@violetviolet888 Agreed, but I find them to be kind of drying. At least the ones that I've tried. I feel like if I wear them, it's for the color stain on my lips and then I add a clear balm or gloss on top.
I noticed your nails right away and thought what a beautiful fall color… also not usually a purple fan. Had no clue they were press on nails! Great video!
absolutely adore the milani lip oils and i first got them after your recommendation actually! i think i tried strawberry melon and cherry lime at first, and as i really wanted to try the new nude shades, i got blackberry agave and lychee nectar. i truly don’t think one needs a high end lip oil when these milani lip oils exist
I'm excited to try the Elf Lash 'n Roll I just received. You have convinced me to buy the Flower Beauty serum concealer, the Milani lip oil, and the Elf lip liner. I do love Essence blushes, highlighter, contour, and their Stay & Play gel eyeliner.
I tried Flower Beauty's Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer in Ivory and it's so good. I love using it as an under eye brightening concealer but this also works as a spot concealer too.
I love that elf lip liner SO much!! I'm a flight attendant and have several. One for home and travel. The pink shade is the perfect pinky brown and goes with most all lip colors! Great video and LOVE the hair!!
My best friend could definitely use this video. She is so used to using a lot of the viral more high-end and even expensive/luxury products, and on time when we went to Sephora to actually buy her some skincare products not even makeup…..she said to one of the employees that she didn’t want to have to use any drugstore products, and I looked at her like “excuse you?” As did the Sephora worker, because we both use drugstore products. I understand that everyone has their personal preferences when it comes to makeup and skincare, which is perfectly okay….some prefer more high-end luxurious, some prefer drugstore, some like both however….to almost diss and shade one because you feel that you could never been seen using them, or because it wouldn’t be good enough for you..….thats a bit tone deaf in my opinion. My best friend, she’s used to the finer things in life, so when she made that comment…..it felt like she said it as “I could never be seen wearing anything drugstore, because I use expensive things.” So I’ve been trying to show her more affordable options.
I wonder if there's some cost bias going on? I remember having this conversation with an ex about designer branded clothes, with his logic being they last longer. But he always ended up with holes in them 😂 I think cus he wasn't good at taking cre of things he was expecting it to be some insurance policy for that by paying more
@@pinkbubblesnakeas someone who always uses “but the quality is so good” as a way to justify buying designer items, i’d have to agree with you. it’s not always better quality! it’s the name, the brand, the idea of using a luxury product, and even sometimes an ego boost
@@furbymaster4239 oh no shade away….like she’s definitely used to the finer things in life (considering that she has a small designer bag collection, and designer fragrances)
I just bought one of the Milani lip oils. I think "honey" (?). I'm stoked to try the formula. I love O&J nails. As someone with small nail beds, their XXS and XS length are incredible. They do look very natural, too. I just put on "cocoa chrome" in the S length, and they're a little too long for me, so I'll cut them. The color is stuuuuuning! I picked up the purple velvet ones you're wearing and am saving them for closer to Halloween. Perfect for spooky season
First time watching your videos and what caught my eye was your nails. Never never would’ve guessed that they are press-ons! Absolutely gorgeous and I like short nail as well. Definitely looking for them at Target! TYVM!
I also have trouble finding a true brown mascara! The best I have found is the Colourpop BFF. Its pretty brown, but the formula is pretty volumizing. Also- maybe try the Voluminous burgundy one. I find it has the "soft" effect I want... If your lashes are at all naturally brown, it really does not look burgundy once applied
The Milani lip oils are my favorite out of them all!! I have tried all the ones you mentioned as well. I love the elf rolling mascara. I thought it was just in my head that it is the best I have tried. Even more than high end!
Oh my gosh, those purple NAILS!! I'm seeing so many length options on the site, even extra short. I may have to look into them. My nail beds are super short from nail biting plus maybe they won't interfere when I play the bass (?!) 😍
That has become my favorite blush brush as well. I was used to bigger cheek brushes, but those will cover more of the cheek area, as you said, and I don't like that anymore. I like a more subtle, natural blush application, and the Flower beauty brush is ideal for that. Took me a while to like it because of what i had previously used, but now it's my favorite. So much so that I ended up buying 2 backups because who knows what is happening with the brand.
I completely agree with you about the Milani lip oils. They’re the best at the drugstore. I feel like the Milani lip oils are better than the cover girl by far. I feel like the NYX fat oil lip drip is a great formula, but it’s very different. I think it comes down to preference, and mine is for the Milani formula. I’m obsessed with the new nude shades.
don’t ask why but I had never been to a Sephora til yesterday mostly bc it’s not super close by and I usually shop online at ulta or in store but anyway I saw the hourglass palettes and I was so surprised by how small they are. For some reason they look bigger to be in photos and videos but in person they are kinda small
Im curious as to how the flower beauty concealer compares to the nyx one! The nyx bare with me was the first serum concealer I ever tried and I fell in love with the formula and finish. Ive been eyeing the saie and tower 28 concealers but now I’m thinking about this flower beauty one!
An elf mascara is someone’s favorite mascara?? Wow! How long was I asleep?? 😂. It’s been a while since I watched a beauty video after I became a mom and lost all interest( I mean time) for makeup but I remember how everyone would politely say ELF makes okay mascaras but not one of their favorites 😊
Has anyone tried both the catrice lip oil and dior lip oil? I tried it in the store on my hand and it feels thick and abit sticky, but I’m wondering if it’s as sticky as the dior one cause I hate the dior lip oil because of that
I tried press on nails recently and they hurt my nail beds SO much! It felt like they were ripping my nails off. Maybe because they were more curved than my own nails? Has anyone else had this happen? Any brand recommendations if this is an issue?
Either they were to narrow or too small, and thus pinching your nail beds. If your nails are flat naturally, you want natural fake nails. If you have a curve or high apex, you want a sculpted nail.
I’ve tried all 3 glosses- Milani is definitely the best compared to Nyx fat oil and Covergirl yummy, however it is a small amount of product compared to covergirl. Idk about Nyx that one is small too.
Anyone know where we can buy the milani lip oils in Canada? I ordered from milani but my order got lost and i got refunded. Dont really want to try again lol
