Corn Bagging on the Farm

Used to run a setup almost identical to that when I worked for the feed store. 3 tons a day minimum, and you got a $.50/hr bonus if you bagged 5 tons or more. Now I'm looking for one of my own, since my family and I are selling corn and other livestock feed directly from the farm. Looking for ways to make us more efficient. The old barrel and scoop just ain't cutting it no more, and we're wanting to ramp up production in the next several months.

In the peak of the season I bag out as much as 27 tons a day.

Id like to add a bagging setup to my operation for the fall months. Ive looked but they are hard to find.

Yes sir. They are. I bag on average 4000 bushels a week

What kind of bag sower do you recommend

I like the fieschbein 40650 best, but for the money the American newlong np 7 A is a great machine. The newlong is slightly faster and the fieschbein lays a better stitch

What kind of bagging scale is that? What was the cost if you don’t mind my asking?
