My brother has this placement ,, and oh dear,, he once loved a girl so deeply for 5 years and left her because he thought that the emotions and the love he started to feel towards her is just too much for him to handel,, so he left her,, and he started screwing around with so many girls but I know that deep down he just can't love someone the way he loved her,,, yeah that's a deep side of Venus in sag.. very complicated.
I love this video because you actually mentioned the part that every other video about this placement managed to forgot: We love and are attracted to intellecual, intelligent people, someone who has something to offer us, not the typical person, But I also noticed that we do tend to be a little hesitant when it comes to commitement, other then that, I think its a pretty nice placement. I'm a Venus/Scorpio and I've dated a Venus/Sag and it was a very fun and spontaneous relationship, but in the end reality struck. They aren't wired in a way that a Venus/Scorpio is. I don't know if they're non-clingy normally, but he was probably 90% non-clingy which really made me upset a lot. Doesn't give much emotional reassurance and affections. I wouldn't suggest a Venus/Sag if you're a Venus/Scorpio, or at least go in with caution.
Same...I am a Venus/Virgo and was married to a Venus/Sag for 5 years...while I love whimsy enthusiasm extrovertedness and childlike essence fun spirituality and adventure that comes with Sag...I think this placement in Venus is very difficult for a needy partner who loves giving but also loves recieving -__- We ended things on a sour note where I was caring for him with him giving little in return all the while apparently stifling him while eventually growing cold and bitter feeling used and unappreciated and eventually stopped all intimacy with him til he left....I am currently with a Venus/Cancer and I find their love to almost mirror mine so it is very comforting and affectionate and we take care of eachother very well
i have venus in sag. im a commitment-phobic. i like adventure seeker energetic guys. i don't mind being rejected. but i don't want a friend that likes me more than a friend. in relationship, if i doubt about him and have suspicions that he is cheating, i'll disappear and move on. im hard to tied down as i don't want my love to be wasted and thrown away. hate possesive people im passionate and be willing to settle for love but for the deserving one. but unless he is not around, im free as a bird.
Personally, my Moon in Libra is very bummed when "breaking up" with anybody--even employers! U are spot on! I have libra moon too & it does gives a certain degree of attachment but Venus Sagittarius helps impart openness & expands the horizons of relationship & our perspective, love, acceptance & meaning.. Because of that it makes us see separation in a healthy way; growth, understanding, room for new experiences & even when committed, the space to wonder & bring something new to the table so one can refresh the relationship.

I have Venus on my Sag ascendant and let me tell you all of my relationships have involved travel but the most thrilling relationship I had was when I went to a whole other country. It's like the further I go from home the better.

Quite an accurate description. I've been in two long term committed relationships over the past 18 years but man I have really struggled with the restrictions that these two relationships have put on my development as a person and my love for the world and people...I have been very loyal though...and I really love to have fun, who doesn't?

Venus in Aquarius here but I'm a sun in Sagittarius a lot of this sounds like me not everything though obviously. I guess my Venus in the emotionally detached fixed air sign could have similar qualities to that of a freedom seeking Sag. Rising Scorpio and moon in Cancer helps me feel through emotions of myself and others. Keeps me put with my wife who's a double Pisces and Aquarius moon! ☺♏♐♋🚻♓♓♒
I think this applies to Venus in the 9th house as well (which is what I have) I can relate to this video even though my sign placement is Leo.

+Abeba Hailu definitely Venus in Scorpio, I wouldn't consider 22* on the cusp. Basically only 29* and 0* would be on the cusp in my opinion. I'm also of the belief that your either one sign or another, even if you fall right on the cusp. Me for example, I'm a 29* Scorpio Rising… 28* Libra Moon.. both could be considered on the cusp but I don't give much weight to that. I am a Scorpio Rising 100%, same with my Libra Moon. However that is just one astrologer's take on it, many others do focus on being on the cusp a lot… It probably has a lot to do with the house as well, that could accentuate the feeling of the other sign on the cusp. For example, if your Venus in Scorpio at 22* is in the 9th House (Sag's home), you definitely will feel that Sagittarius influence on your Venus. Hope that helps :)

Also I see you love scorpions because you know you it feels to be a Scorpio. I have a lot planets in Scorpio as well , my Venus, mars, mercury , and Uranus are all in Scorpio . I also have Pluto /sun aspect , Pluto /ascendant aspect which is like being a scorpio.

Stellium Sun Scorpio, ASC Virgo, Lunar Aquarian with a Venus placement within Sagittarius. Needless to say yes iam very much attracted to a strong independent female. I find myself so turned on to a female with drive, great desire for personal development, and who without me could still hold herself together to carry out whatever mission she so desires in life (and no that desire CANNOT be to live to serve me as thats rather shallow and i just dont feel anyone person myself included is that significant in contrast to the universe around us.)
The placement is significantly intensified due to my other placements and personally is viewed as both gift and curse. I can come across very emotionally detatched and have a cognitive approach to "passion or love" vs raw emotion. Love in the sense of a relationship is viewed as, sometimes it goes great, sometimes it sucks yet thats all in perspective and if the view is that i feel confined, restricted, lack of privacy etc etc its now a threat and should be treated just like any threat. I could love and really feel i love someone but also understand that in life there is beginning and then theres a end. Were all a spark in the dark and thats not sad as much as its just fact. So however whenever that end comes is the universe carrying out its cycle as it always has. Lastly the detatched approach also helps me understand i have no desire to "possess" someone as humans arent collectable objects, and....i live amongst earth. The mass will always be greater than the sum. I have a obsession to leave this world with something greater than the way i found it. Not sure how far ill be able to go prior to expiration but if its a personal relationship vs. contributing to the world than id rather die or terminate the personal relationship in order to provide humanity some contribution of my existance. Know of any Dagny Taggorts* in the flesh? lol
Upon further thought...
theres also a certain degree of not relating to mass society that lends to conflicts with the placement. Ive found that i happen to attract people and just as easily turn them away. Theres a certain allure perhaps of the depth and passion that at first glance may be sought after yet quickly dissipates due to its intensity. Arguably Venus is the placement of love, passion and so with it being within Sagittarius its rather a strong pursuit....a enjoyment in endeavors. My ideal fun isnt mundane bullshit a strong majority of time. Relaxation lies within the selective pursuits. So its viewed at times like i dont know how to just relax. My work is relaxing, working out is relaxing, reading, growth, assisting others reach a higher version of self is fun. This penetration is rewarding for those seeking that higher self, ditto for if it is opposite. Theres also a portion for me that does love to go out to a club, mimosa brunches, or wine tasting that throws people off because the perception is work work work and then i engage those activities in its like...huh? lol. Lastly i also reflected on how because of that passion to experience and grow it turns people off because they almost feel incapable to keep up. So at times (mainly in the past) ive kind of felt like whats even the point in trying to reach out or get to know people? There going to leave at some point anyway which within can feel a bit lonely and increases that desire to move on to something or someone else. I dont have a drive to control others, there thoughts, actions and so forth however i do highly encourage people to correct maybe what can be internal issues if fixable in order to expend there minds, travel, experience. Break free of the restraints theyve possibly locked themselves in.
