Was an 0621 for 8 years and was in several units. I was stationed in Japan, east coast, west coast, and all over the world....and I can honestly say, this is the most useless job to the outside world. You take no skills into the job market
What should i do? I still have to do mct but i have comms. Im trying to get a good job once i finish my 4 year contract. What can i do to enjoy my 4 year contract and not have it suck
@@batmayne2935 learn as my much as you can and do not follow the social lazy crowd that just wants to do the bare minimum. Even if you don't like your job or unit your with, everything is temporary and will go by in a flash if you put forth effort. I joined in 2002. There was no RUclips or any social media. Today there is much more information on SINCGARS and Harris radio equipment. If you do end up reenlisting, I would highly encourage you to LAT move, which is transfer to a different job, that is able to transfer to the civilian job market. Trust me. Radio operators have a tough time out here. However, you can go to college with the GI Bill and get training for a different career path.
Comm. You can talk about us, but you can't talk without us!
It's always weird seein my old drill instructor like this before he became a DI.
Bruh same here
It's funnier when you discover your DI is in jail now.

So true. I was a 2531 USMC 1986-90. That skillset learned and used got me no relatable jobs after service.
How if you work with “tech” wouldn’t that be something that’s needy
