4-6 loops on the traps. Had one trap with 7 but had to clip a loop off to follow regulations. Number doesn't seem to matter as long as they have spring in them to stay open.
The Dungeness Crab I bought at Safeway Grocer was COOKED. I opened it up took the junk out with the lungs broke its legs off and threw it in the Gumbo for the last 20 minutes or so. It was a real surprise. Not as good as the New Orleans Blue Crabs, especially the yellow stuff but pleasant meat.@@MisfitsFiendClub138
