There is no correct answer . Dez was nasty and Cee Dee is so smooth. Two different styles of play. We are blessed as Cowboy’s fans to have witnessed both . The whole club 88 has been something from out of this world

wrong... CD is the clear pick.. Dez was a nightmare off the field with issues (nightclubs, late to practice ect) The look at the route tree and ability to play X Y and Z positions... No CD and in 3 years still CD
@@jordanlindholm293Dez never had off the field problems. Dez was an animal and physically he was 2nd to none. Dez on the goal-line was as automatic a TD as you will ever see in the NFL.
Lamb is a smooth route runner but not as good at the jump ball.
Both great in their own right.
Cedee's route running is next level. I am taking Lamb everytime

Remember Amari Cooper is the reason his route running got better. Cooper used to take time explaining his breaks and setting up defensive backs on routes!!

I love Dez. He was probably the most physical wide receiver in the game during his prime. He is the best 50/50 ball catcher with Romo at the helm. Him and Romo were unstoppable near the goal line. In saying that, Dez wasn't as a great route runner as CeeDee. CeeDee has gradually become one of the best route runners in the game today. He can line up anywhere on the line. He is also a good ball carrier in the back field. I feel Dez used his physical traits to dominate the game and did not really take the time to perfect his route running. He was just vastly superior against the smaller cornerbacks covering him. CeeDee seems to want to perfect the craft of being a wide receiver and he's getting better every year. Combine his physical traits with being a student of the game, I feel he would have a better career once his physical tools diminished. In saying that, Dez and CeeDee are both great receivers. Dez was great with Romo and Lamb is great with Dak. Looking forward to seeing CeeDee for the remainder of his career. At his current projectory, he would have a chance to be a HOF. Dez while great did not have a HOF career. He was great for a few years and injuries really slowed him down the latter part of his career.

I believe the Dez Romo connection is the same thing we’re watching being created now with Ceedee and Dak.
I think our offense needs a bigger like Mike Evans or Dez built like guy to pair with ceedee that has really sharp routes.
That would bust our passing game wide open.
@@rubenmangus407 I think the Cowboys had a top 2 receiving core of CeeDee, Cooper, and a healthy Gallup 2 years ago. That was a formidable wide receiving core with Cedric Wilson and Noah Brown being the 4th & 5th receiver respectability. I know Cooper sometimes disappears in games, but Cooper was the elder player who took time to teach a young CeeDee and Gallup about the craft of route running. A lot of fans were disappointed when they basically gave Cooper away to the Browns. Even now, Cooper is a top 10 wide receiver with the Browns with a rotation of quarterbacks throwing him the ball. The Cowboys can have a decent group of wide receivers once Gallup gets healthier and Cooks continues his connection with Dak. Jalen Tolbert can be a good #3 if Gallup is released as well. They can always pick up a good big-bodied wide receiver next year in free agency or draft one in the middle rounds. As of right now, their passing game is good enough to be a Super Bowl contender. The main issue on offense is the O-line and they need a physical running back who can be great near the goal line.

I don't agree on sitting Gallup .. Gallup was a dog before his injury I just think him and Dak need to reconnect... Gallup is/was our 50/50 ball guy he can get up & snatch somethin .... But definitely would like to see more Turpin

Lamb has been this good. It's all about targets. Durable & shows up. Never throws Dak under the bus
I choose CD because of his route running ability. If your #1 reciever can run any route, it opens up the playbook a lot. You don’t wanna find yourself in situations where you are throwing up a jump ball in the game to survive (like the catch-no catch). I like making an opposing defense earn their win instead of helping them by throwing a lower percentage ball.

Dez is my favorite wr of all time. Love CeeDee. Don't think we make the playoffs without him but Dez was a td machine and was good at yac. Could break tackles and the best at jump balls. If Dez was all Tony had like CeeDee is with Dak he'd have put up bigger numbers.

The best stat on Lamb is his target to catch %. Every year it has gone up and this year he pushed it to another level!! CD will require a top 5 WR contract!!!! But he is worth it. Players that coast then pop for a year near contract time can't be relied on. CD is different though. he isn't popping, he is climbing with sustainable progression. He is raising both the ceiling and the floor at the same pace.

I think they sign Henry in the off-season and they make a superbowl run. Dak out of play-action where the defense actually has to bite because Henry is in the backfield would be deadly. It would let Lamb make bigger plays down the field as well.

Between CD & Dez, I would take Cee Dee, just because of his overall athleticism and drive to win. I know Dez wanted to win SUPER bad & was robbed in the Green Bay Bullsh*t Game (GBBG). Because in that game, where the stupid new rules made (and still make) catches hard as hell to ascertain, I don’t understand how that pass was incomplete when the ball never hit the ground. That’s the FIRST thing they should’ve thought of! But I thought Zac was saying “regency bias” and couldn’t figure out what the hell he was talking about. Anyway, Cee Dee can play so many other positions, if need be, that he’s the obvious choice.

Dez numbers went down when Dak took over. I don't think their chemistry was there & ultimately, Dez suffered from it.

CeeDee is the greatest Cowboy to wear the number 88. All the other Cowboys were drama queens and brought way to much unnecessary negative attention to our team. He is so humble it's not even funny. he is great like Larry Fitzgerald.

I agree with you about the take on CeeDee but man, Bryant was pyshical plus the way that guy could go up and snatch that ball in the endzone or wherever for that matter, his carrer was sadly short lived with the Cowboys for sure!
There's also never been a cowboys team that featured a WR like this. The running game was the focal point in the 90s. Romos years witten and dez were evenly targeted. Early in Daks career Zeke was the focal point. Lamb has been awesome but dez and Irvin are better. Lamb needs to stop dropping balls and no more fumbles out of the end zone when you should score
