59. Married for 30 years. Grown child. My life is WAY different than yours but I can still pick up bits and pieces from your posts and I’ll look forward to the next one!
I have recently made the change from dressing in your normal jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers to button down oxfords or nice polos, chinos, and nice shoes. The difference in how I am treated, especially by women, has been amazing. While I was basically ignored and invisible in jeans and a t-shirt, now I get compliments and women look at me all the time. Dressing this way also makes me feel more confident and attractive, which has helped change my mood and my confidence, for the better. If you have not made the switch from jeans and t-shirt to a nice oxford shirt, chinos, and nice leather shoes, try it. You'll be amazed at how much better people treat you and the attention you'll get from women. BTW, I'm 53.
"Dress better than average". I like that. I am a substitute teacher here in Atlanta and the "compliments" come at me nonstop even from my teenage students of both genders. As always John you're batting 1000😊❤🎉!
John, you are 100% right about dressing neatly. Look at the workplace. It’s become sloppy and way too “it’s all about comfort.” I’ve been updressing per your suggestions and it really does make a difference. My wife has been very complimentary!
I have been watching your videos for quite some time. Over that last two years I have completely redone my wardrobe. I feel way more confident and feel a lot more comfortable now. More than I did when I was in my 30's (in my mid 40's now). It doesn't take much to look better. And.....IMO I would rather spend my money on looking better and dressing better than others. It goes a long way thats for sure.
Another good video. With that textured polo combined with chinos and loafers, no wonder you got some compliments and heads turned Thanks for posting this video, love it!
I am pretty sure that I first heard of slick collar on one of your videos a couple years ago. I ordered a set but they only had two sizes back then. It doesn’t matter as I really only use the large size. They work great with my dress shirts. You don’t even realize you are wearing it until you start to take your shirt off. It is a great item to have. All my life I had limp plackets. Not anymore. These are highly recommended.
Great tips as always. And you nailed it. So many of these things just build a sense of pride in you which overflows into so many other things. And thanks for the links.

Nice tips. Acessories are an instant upgrade to ones attractiveness. While on the train a young lady sitting next me recognized my watch and complimented me on how nice it is. I have found in my life that alot of men ask me what job do I do. I think some men judge me on what work I do. Conversation is very superficial.
