    Loving the actual play, would just like to let you guys know that the fear and hope aspects of rolling the duality dice is in reference to the web of fate not so much how the characters act. If you roll with hope the tides of fate turn in your favor, if you roll with fear the tides of fate turn against you. It's not in reference to how the characters feel. This is why the GM gets the fear tokens as a resource they spend to inject conflict and counteraction into into the world.

      GM here-this is great stuff! And a good point for me that in future actual plays of Daggerheart I need to make it more clear that's actually exactly what I was doing. The players rolled, and the outcome of that roll was based on how it matched up against the DC + Hope/Fear. Involving their feelings was simply for *flavor* and roleplaying fun. ☺

      @@EnterThePocketDimension Gotcha, was just wanting to throw that out there because some of the negative feedback I have seen about the system is players saying they didnt like the dice telling them how their characters should feel. There was a spot where Anna made Dotty fearful because of the with fear terminology of the duality dice when consulting the mycelial network, and I just wanted to stress for the sake of people interested in the system that though that is most likely how Dotty would have reacted to what happened based on the character that it was not required by the dice or system for them to react with fear.
