- The first ever film clip that has been released by Australian darkwave band IKON, for the song 'A Line on a Dark Day'. Directed and produced by Jason Chave, and filmed on location at the Old Convent, St Arnaud, Victoria, Australia. IKON acknowledges the support of Victoria Rocks (Arts Victoria) for the funding of this film clip.
From the 2009 album 'Love, Hate and Sorrow', available on LP, CD from the ikon bigcartel store.

Until last week the only Aussie bands I'd ever heard of really and really dug were INXS and Midnight Oil, in fact the first album I ever bought was Diesel And Dust when I was twelve years old, add Ikon to the mix. Greetings from Richmond Virginia USA!

funun2, Ikon's first single came out in 1992, so they've been making music like this a lot longer than The Killers. I think their influences would have a lot in common e.g. 1980s post-punk music.

They are like a more relaxed Fields of the Nephilim. If anyone wants to freak out take a listen to the album ZOON by Nefilim, it will blow your mind.
I used to work with Mick Carrodus back in the day. Got a signed vinyl here somewhere.

me acabo de comprar un ep en formato vinilo de esta banda (no los conocia) y mi sentido aracnido no me fallo ...excelente compra de un vinilo limitado a 300 copias ... coincidentemente es la copia numero 1 de 300 .... asike como llego a ese mercadillo? lo ignoro ...pero ahora esta en buenas manos , tengo un pedazo de joya en mis manos ....saludos y gran banda
