I honestly don't mind the bonus damage from stagger. I think it's a fun reward for getting said stagger. The biggest issue in my opinion is that stagger is waaaaay too easy to force. Sekiro makes you work for a stagger with parries so you can get the deathblow, but in AC6, you can just build something cheesy and steamroll bosses. For whatever AC project comes next, I'd like to see them make staggering more of a steady process you work towards so that getting that big damage boost feels much more impactful.
@@SomeNamelessNobody I understand. I do think it nudges builds towards a stagger and punish play style, which is fun enough, but when you try to do anything else, it definitely makes the game less satisfying as a consequence. I would frankly also be fine with the entire system being removed and going back to how Armored Core used to handle stability instead.
@@SomeNamelessNobody For me the problem is the flinch, it would work a bit like FA primal armor (I think, didn't play FA). having bonus damage but no flinch would remove the frustrating cutscene combos
@@J.aime_le_pain181 I still think the bonus damage is worse but that's just me. But I will agree that the bonus damage alone won't be as bad as bonus damage and stagger. So an either or thing I would be fine with but not both.
@@EvilAce360 I feel like this mod is perfect to try out if you actually hate the stagger in AC6. It adds and changes a lot more than just removing bonus damage but that's the main reason I use this mod.
@@sandhiwistara9128 Yeah no turn speed really hurts the balance. Like if say AC gen 1 had no turn speed how would a light beat a tank? Plus the no turn speed would not be that big of an issue for lights if long range was a thing because then the lights could just get out of range of the heavy. But I would prefer the turn speed to return really.
What will it be better for ac6 a dlc or a standalone just like ac4 has acfa for some fixes, add ons return/removals or what others wanted just straight to ac7
@@namelessking8049 I would prefer a standalone sequel to AC6 before AC7. Mainly because I want to see if Fromsoft can fix the issues I have with gen 6. But I sure do not want DLC at all for AC6 because then they would not be able to do any of those changes I think AC6 needs.
@@SomeNamelessNobody yeah if they were to do so (making it dlc) it would took years to wait for the sequel, hopefully they could take a break from the souls series for a while
@@namelessking8049 I thought the story was okay. There was parts of the story that made no sense to me like why did Allmind attack the player? Because it seems like if Allmind did nothing their plan would have succeeded. Unless I am missing something it made no sense to me. Liberator of Rubicon was probably my favorite route though when it comes to the story. But I have not played the story in over a year now. So I don't remember it too well.

I don't think I can enjoy the bonus damage even if it is tied to a much longer stagger bar.

Respect for doing allmind without hard lock
I actually forgot this game even has a hard lock sense I never used it before
stagger in a mecha game Armored Core no less was a mistake this might make me wanna retry AC6 tbh

This mod look fun. I gotta try it.
Good video.
Stagger Build up do happen in previous build but man. In AC 6 it kinda force my mind to do 1 thing that is stagger and then mele attack
Well that is the strongest strategy in this game. And probably the most reliable way to play.
And I kinda hate the lock system since even the most heaviest chunk can still 180 your arse which make light build kinda .... unreliable

Yeah feel like playing Gundam VS instead of Armored core but then again it's better then nothing at this point

Ac6 is just like ac4 n ac5
Its good but it can be better
That whyvwe got 4a n VD
I do wonder if a sequel to AC6 would fix the issues I have with it like how AC4A fixed all my issues with AC4.
