The design team hit the bullseye with this phone design. It is very beautiful.
Except for that 4th dummy camera on the back - I really don't understand why they felt the need to do that.
For symmetry purpose. A lot of things uses and implement symmetry in order to made design look better.

You mentioned that the ×3 camera has a short minimum focusing distance, does it make it better than the macro/ultrawide camera?
Yes because the minimum focusing distance is 25 centimeters and since it's 3x, you'll have a way better result than what you'd get with the ultrawide.

Tecno confirmed that this will get 3 OS update and 4 years of software support.
Updates promises don't guarantee great ui and ux.

I ordered this phone in very first sale. But I've doubt of this camera because it's photo is below average and look like 12 or 16 MP. So is it possible? I'm asking because one plus did the same thing earlier with the one plus 12R's storage type. So please help me to find the answer of my query. How will I check the originality of the camera of this phone?? Thanks in advance.

I'm confused between this phone and mi 13t pro.
The Tecno Camon 30 Premier is one of the best in class midranger like the design, built quality,the chipset and potent triple camera set-up and proper selfie cam. But, yes with flaws like the display brightness, image processing could be better and software support.
I think that's a problem with their unit because they lited the brightness of the phone as 1400nits on their website
Software support was officially solved. Tecno announced some days ago that all Camon 30 phones will update up to Android 16 and security patches.
And also it's real life battery endurance. It's not good tbh.
@@karldenver121 Depends if you're a heavy user/gamer or moderate. There are other factors that drains battery way faster like using GPS all the time and keeping apps with unrestricted data and wifi on even while not in use.
I've been eyeing this one, but it's not available in my country.

I kinda wish I waited for this one before buying my Camon 20s Pro last December. This one looks way stylish, it can go with any occasion. But, my phone also has great camera and overall features. It's slim and delivers exceptional performance considering its price. First, Tecno phone that I've had and I'm already impressed with this brand.
Just check the release date. Chances are, the next version will release 1 year later.

What in the world are you using your phone for if 512GB isn't enough? You do know we have USB-C to SD reader/flash drive nowadays?
Good luck finding a phone at this price range, performance and camera at 6000mAh.
Does the camon's 30 pro display support HDR technology?
Yes
It is an OLED so yes by default. HDR is more about contrast than brightness.

@@imguvenc I don't know, I use OnePlus Nord 3, not this phone. As far as HDR is concerned brightness is not as important as contrast/10 bit color depth.

When in doubt, check official website where the device is from. They're saying it's LTPO AMOLED.

I've been using the predecessor of this phone and Tecno is lacking with security updates and major OS updates as well.
Tecno announced some days ago that all Camon 30 phones will get "updates guarantee up to Android 16 and 36-month security patches".
Is it true that it has no Wi-Fi 6 protocol just like other Tecno high end phones?
From all the spec sheet, there is indeed no Wi Fi 6 which I find weird as the Dimensity 8200 does support Wi Fi 6. It's probably not enabled by the developers.

8000 series processors are amazing
Yeah the only problem with non-qualcomm chips I noticed is power drain when on data. On wifi my OnePlus Nord 3 (Dimensity 9000) can last ~10 hours SOT, on data only about 5-6 hours.
@@jackwilson5542 I have old qualcomm phone and on data it drains more battery than on wifi too.
hopefully you can compare this to other phones, like s23 or s24 or iphone 15, xiaomi 14.

Infinix and Tecno revised that and are offering 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches for recently released phones and new ones, like Infinix GT 20 Pro.
Infinix Note 40 also will get these updates, according to other youtuber reviews, so, I believe that Tecno Pova 6 series will also get them.

At least they are hearing everyone and doing what they can. Some brands simply forget their phones after released.
Techno proves that there's no reason why phone manufacturers cannot make a complete phone under 40k. Nearly all flagship killers under the 40k segment (40000 INR) have certain compromises: V30 pro (poor haptics and no dual speakers), Neo 9 pro (Selfie video recording is limited to 1080p 30 FPS and only main rear sensor is good with the ultra wide being very mediocore and sub par, poor haptics) and 12r (curved screen, throttling, poor cameras and 1080p selfie recording only). The s23 FE has significant throttling issues and a poor battery life even if the rest is fine.
Only the Edge 50 pro comes close, but it has a curved screen.
