- Tim Burtons Classic 1988 Movie Beetlejuice was such a controversial movie for the locals in East Corinth, Vermont. They swept into this quaint little town in the beautiful mountains of Vermont and filmed this movie. Little did the residence know it would have become Beetlejuice! They all thought it was going to be a sweet romantic movie! Come take a little tour with us as we explore the famous red covered bridge, the Maitland’s Hardware store, the Fire Department, the library that had a facade building over it to mock the.library that burned down in 1945 and of course the FAMOUS hill that the Maitland house was built on, which was a facade house with an inflatable tarp roof! ( please respect the privacy of the owner and do not trespass on her land, we’ve seen a lot of videos of people who have trespassed, we had special permission from the owner to go on the hill, and she walked the hill with us!) a special thanks to all the locals for making this a very memorable experience for us!

It was amazing. We had to wait for the hill to be mowed as they use the property to grow feed for cattle.

I've never been a big fan, but it was a neat trip. Another movie I wasn't a big fan of was Big Fish... I'm just not a big Tim Burton fan, but if you are ever going through Montgomery, AL stop at a place called Jackson Lake Island. We have a couple of videos there, it's the actual film set from the movie and my wife's favorite place because they have like 100 roaming goats. lol
Yea he has a very unique style some love and some hate. But happy you appreciate some of the set locations! We went through there and tried to camp at Jackson lake but it was flooded end of 2021 and we weren’t able to access, I (Elysia) was actually pretty upset about it because Big fish happens to be one my fave movies lol. And was trying to get there before more of it was destroyed. :(
