Intake noise is loud when you pin the throttle. I've done the same with my 22 GasGas 700es. Wipe the inside of your old airbox with a white cloth and see how much dust got through. It will surprise you. I tried the Kev 02 dongle but didn't notice any significant difference in power and off the throttle smoothness but did see I difference in fuel economy.
I’m thinking about trying to insulate it a bit. After a few days of riding it, it def got some big gain in the middle. 2nd gear picks the wheel up with no effort now. I feel like it runs smoother on the bottom, but maybe, just maybe lost a little bit of torque. Oh yeah, it was fairly dirty in there. I think a lot of that is crankcase breather residue. My pipe (header color & muffler carbon) super scientifically still indicates that I’m getting enough fuel.
John, did you consider the extra fuel tank option? What was your feeling about it? Too much weight? No real need for it in Hawaii? Your thoughts? I'm considering the additional fuel tank with the smaller airbag.
I’d like to have it, but honestly it would never get used. 150-160 miles is usually about all the further I get in a day and I can usually pass a station somewhere in the tail of that. At the end of the day, the box is much more practical for me and if I need a little extra fuel I can just toss a liter bottle in the box.
No, sorry. I’m a 6 footer. She’s flat footed for me. Should be plenty of lowering kits out though, I’ve seen some in passing. I was actually considering increasing travel of mine at one point.

I Lowered my! I’m 5’9 so much better.. also bought the Klim boot with thick sole. Feels great now!
Dude, I'm 6'2" and it's almost too tall for me! If I come to a light and have to straddle a rain gutter, I'm on my tip-toes.
@@CudavidO1123 you either have a 30” inseam or sitting too far back. Scoot up! 😂
I cant find spare filters for this so i definitely wouldn't recommend it
They have an upgrade kit now. Might be able to contact twin air directly too.
