The submarine that did it stopped and rescued a load of people but then US bomber planes started to attack it (with survivors right next to it and it had the Red Cross flying).
It’s not Karma though, just more innocents being killed. Karma would have been hitler being caught. Germany during both wars is ignored on the fact that many of the soldiers were good people or did good things, all the good stories of war are ignored.
