Although seemingly accidental, Gonathan falling from a high place immediately after their interaction from any outside perspective must look INSANE.
It def was, I was watching from Ame pov and she delivered sad news and all the voices in her head were so sad cuz she showed symptoms even before she got to town, and then so soon after they parted "Gonathan fell" was on screen and we started bawling our eyes out, even Ame reacted to it though it might be hard to tell.

when in actuality it looked like she was just messing around and got too high up.
She went too far over. The feather only works in your build zone, which the Tam Gandr statue was right up against, so she flew too far over and the flying deactivated.

I like the theory I saw elsewhere that the reason Ame's memory got wiped is because she's the only actual human in the entire group, so it affected her differently.

This just proves that Justice’s story is going to be so depressing over the course of EnReco with them creating all these memories and relationships with the other members just for everyone else to forget about them.
What is going to happen for Gonathan G when Kronii realizes she isn’t the queen? What is going to happen when Biboo realizes she isn’t the princess and Raora learns she isn’t her mom or that CC doesn’t need to be her knight?
EnReco just becomes Justice’s story of becoming isolated and losing everyone they knew and loved.

The part that was absolute cinema was when "Chiku Taku" started playing in the background. It reminds me of an ending to a season of anime where they start playing the main theme with credits rolling and the characters talking. The contrast between the upbeat song and the heavy mood of the scene really hit folks hard.
