Hey Dane!! Thanks for going back in time and reacting to some of our very early stuff! So much has happened since these shows!! And yes, Khatsahlano was AMAZING, we played Bullet at that show too!
@DaneBramageROCKS I was at Khatsahlano, not the brewery show. Khats is nuts. 2 main stages, 10 blocks apart. 5 side stages, with over 50 performers between noon and 10 p.m.. Last year they estimated attendance at 175,000. FTF probably had over 100 people watching them, and they were overall definitely impressed. Jesse heard people talking about them well after the show, blocks away.
A cover that they did at Khatsahlano that blew my mind was Bloody Mary. I actually thought it was an original, until I dug and discovered that it's a Lady Gaga song. I like their version waaaay better. Favourite Smashing Pumpkins song: Drown. And speaking of covers, I know they're moving away from them, but a few of us would like to see them slay War Pigs. Can you imagine?
I like FTF's version of "Bullet...." way more than the original, even though the audio quality isn't great on that song. Never cared for Billy Corgan's voice. Thrones sounded pretty good. Wait til you get to the recent live for "Masquerade" 🤘🤘❄❄❄
That is a good point! It is such a good song and I love seeing bands cover it, FTF did awesome! I feel like sounds best when played heavier, if that makes sense. As for Masquerade, the video will post tomorrow AM.
