    About the tour
You can have a close look at Noh which is a traditional performing art Japan is proud of. We are privileged to collaborate with General Incorporated Association Kanze-kai.
Saburota Kanze, a Noh actor of the Kanze School, and the son and the heir to the 26th Grand Master of the Kanze School, Kiyokazu Kanze, is a guide in the video. It consists of an easy-to-understand basics in Noh, a behind-the-scenes premiere footage and a Noh dance "Yashima" by Saburota Kanze so there is something for everyone to enjoy whether you are a newcomer to Noh or a seasoned fan.

    About Guide: Saburota Kanze
Son and Heir to the 26th Grand Master of the Kanze School, Kiyokazu Kanze.
Born in 1999, he studied under his father, the 26th Grand Master of the Kanze School, Kiyokazu Kanze.
He debuted with ""Kurama Tengu"" at a tender age of five and has performed in many plays as a child actor. His first ""shite"" (leading role) was in ""Kappo"" in 2009 and notable among other leading roles that he played in his teens is ""Sagi.” In 2015, he wore a Noh mask for the first time in ""Tsunemasa,"" followed by such plays as ""Shakkyo"" and ""Midare"" both of which are the important milestones for a professional Noh performer. Saburota is definitely the prominent next generation of Noh performers.
It is especially worth noticing that he performed in a critically-acclaimed, five-day, six-performance tour at New York City's Lincoln Center (2016), and ""Shakkyo"" at the Court Banquets after the Ceremony of the Enthronement of His Majesty the Emperor, hosted by the Prime Minister and his wife (2019), presented for the representatives of the Japanese government, heads of state, representatives of other countries and congratulatory delegations.
