You're doing a great job of cleaning our oceans , I appreciate your efforts and work a lot 👏👏👏
Only a few million square miles more to go but it allows morons, of which there are millions more, to carry on as normal thinking that someone else will clear their fuckin mess up. ?? No it doesn’t.
This method kills a large portion of ocean life that lives on the surface of the water. It sucks.

Every big country with a blue water navy should have at least a fleet of a dozen of these!
Gooo pollution!
Maybe not 24/7 because I’m sure a lot of marine life would be caught by accident and that could mess up the ecosystem. But I’m glad they have this too.
@@adorimonroe1 This system has some systems in place to avoid catching fish, like the shape of the nets and the speed they travel at

Good job guys! I hope it gathers more recognition around the globe
I honestly really like that it’s built in a way that there is an open space in the middle so fish can escape before being scooped up. It’s also nice that the submerged floaters serve a dual purpose of keeping the nets shape and keeping it from lowering enough to damage reefs.
My respects to the computer rendering all of the trash dumping out, that was beautifully executed! 👏👏👏
Still nothing like the real ocean plastic

I wonder how many fish died in this net.
A dog and pony show? Taking the tiny amount of plastic off the surface, while 99.99999% of it remains beneath the waters? And how much wild life does this kill or interfere with? This is merely an illusion to appease the environmentalists. Won’t even make a dent.

Everything under roughly 500km will take around 25 years to fall to earth and everything around 800km will take around 100-150 years to fall back down. The upper limits of low earth orbit pushing 1200km will take closer to 2000 years and everything past that will be up there for a longer and longer time.
