I don't know who wrote the script for this video, but what happened between Claire and John cannot be called an affair. Her second husband was dead and she had sex with her third husband as far as she knew. Yes, Jamie is a human being and he may emotionally process it like an affair, but it wasn't.
Agreed. Given the choice between being hanged as a traitor and her family targeted as rebels as well, Claire MARRIES Lord John. So this is "technically not cheating." It's "legally marriage."
@ First of all, I don't think we're really clear on the timeline. Second of all you sound like just another MRA/Incel that over populates the Internet, who is obsessed with policing the sexuality of women you don't know, you will never know, and even those who are fictional.
Claire and John's affair of heart is betrayal on Claire's part . Her suicide thought is justifying being with John that's not love but manipulation when jaime confronts her shes just as guilty as john grey is
Claire and John did not have an "affair of the heart" as they both admitted that neither of them was thinking of the other during their sexual exchange. And you are judging rather harshly since both John & Claire believed Jamie was dead, and as far as they were aware, they were MARRIED. They didn't really do anything wrong. If either of them had believed Jamie was alive, it (sex) never would have happened.

Yes, it was legally marriage until Jamie returned and then it was instantly invalidated.
She actually waited a whole week for getting to bed with a new man

I’m with you on this. I did feel Jamie’s reaction to Claire was very harsh and felt disappointed in this on initial watch.
Claire never had an affair with lord John.. and Leoghaire is not pronounced leg hair, but Leary…
Up coming episodes are #13 and #14
Some people never have true love in whole lifetime so staying faithful to memory of that true love takes strength not being selfish in my opinion

I was hoping Claire would grow to love Lord John and have a bit of peace in her life.
Calling it an affair is stretching the truth
Looking forward to seeing it
