One of the best THE MISSION songs beautiful music and gorgeous vocal.
still The greatest rock band to ever come out of the UK. More recognition deserved
Wayne is a great talent, not always recognised as such, but a listen to some of their music reveals absolute classics & storming ripping guitar tracks.
God bless The Mission!
great for a band that never keeps its creativity locked in the last decade. The ever evolving always impressive Mission U.K.
MASSA !!!!!
Great song from a VERY great band!!!
DE LO MEJORCITO DE LAS ISLAS BRITÁNICAS... GRANDESSSSSSSS
THE MISSION. SALUDOS DESDE JAÉN
Been around with these since The Sisterhood days, Great to see them back together minus Mick, am excited for October 2023!! 😍
I, more than adore you
Naked, standing before you
Hold out your arms
And open yourself wide
Hold me dear
Bury me deep inside
Feel, feel the glow
You make me swoon
I, wanna turn you on
Wanna take you high
Sleight of hand
Slip of the tongue
Sweet, how sweet you taste
And the heat
The heat you make
You make me swoon, you make me swoon
I, more than adore you
Naked, standing before you
Hush, baby hush
Rush, here comes the rush
You make me swoon, you make me swoon
You make me swoon, you make me swoon
A precious and dedicated thank to Doc Davide Pappalardo.for supporting bravely and friendly along Italian Lockdown spring 2020....i do not forget✌
My love
Hi Syebba I agree with you completely. Wayne is a very talented guy and some very good musicians have been with The Mission over the years. A prime example of that is the sheer talent of Simon Hinkler, but he is by no means the only one.
best song of the world génius stuff
Yeah. Bowie's Heroes certainly is.
4th best track on the album .
See you all at Shepherds Bush in 2008 ?
Keep the faith x
Il y a du David Bowie "Heroes" dans ce titre
This isnt what you expect from the mission, thats why theyre a great band, they have the ability to surprise you, instead of being repetitive!
I have another version on a compilation cd,less acoustic,more rock,which i think is better.
That version is brilliant!
Wrenn's got me stumped too!!!
based in "into the heart of love" of The Mighty Lemon Drops 1989
Do U2 want to cover this song?

with the second frontline
I saw the mish when they supported U2,blown away by them.
This is a soft mish track,i suppose it is close to U2,but most of their tracks are harder & edgier than U2's.
Both are good groups, but the mish were massively underated & deserved to of been bigger.
Still there's rumours of the mish returning with their original line up!
And they did just that, with fabulous new album just released
CaptainOatwright is correct. Check out Another Fall From Grace. It's one of those albums that just keeps on growing onto and into you, especially good in its entirety. Toured with it last year just after it came out and it got a great reception, back to their signature sound with a very fresh new set of songs.
Oh, and they're touring again in May :-) :-)
I saw them a few years ago on a ultra concert!!
young gods, mission, jesus and mary chain and primal scream, in this order being primal scream the headliners!
What a great day it was!
saw all 4 for the 1st time , made it even more magical 👌
How did you get the video or where did you get it from? I have other videos but not that one
For those that didn't get it... Look at Rik Carter at this point in time where his arm actions could be taken as sexual .... now marry that with the lyrics "bury me deep inside". Just HOW deep Rick?!
That's it, exactly, Paul.
Heh.
@gonzaejuarez IT'S TRUE MY FRIEND!!!
okay.... First I will say, I do really like this song. But I want to call attention to a juxtoposition that I find amusing. at 1:01-1:02. the words, and the geture being made in the background. Coincidence?? ;-)

WHAT???!!! 🤣🤣🤣
not even similar
They all tributed to Bowie.
the Sisters of Mercy are awesome, Andrew Eldrich is king of the second wave of goth.
More U2 than The Mission this one in my opinion...
the bad age of TMUK
