I was (and still am) unable to work (schizotypal disorder, not sure if they are the right words in English). But they tried to help me find work. Anyway, we had kind of a class where we had to perform in front of the others, playing a guy not wanting to leave the house of somebody else, things like that. We also had to read a text and say what we liked in it. I chose this song's lyrics and tried to translate them in French. I felt so good reading that in front of my "audience" (even if I was afraid of.. their reaction). They liked the lyrics (specially the "teacher") and tanks to this, I have at least one good memory from that period. So... It's a very special song for me.
Every so often, ever since this album came out and the days when I would have it on repeat, I randomly sing this song to myself. I won't stop until I am the one lying in the infirmary.
I met these guys when I was working at the Comfort Inn in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, back in 2010. Very down to earth folks, and they spent most of their time during the check-in process making jokes about Spinal Tap. I didn't really talk to anybody in depth aside from Dave, and when he found out that I was a fan he offered me a ticket to the show at, if I remember correctly, Shank Hall. I had to work, unfortunately, so I had to say "no," but I still appreciated the offer.
The most underrated band of all time.
One of my favorite songs of all time, never get tired of it.
agreed
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SONG! ❤️
I’ve never heard this version before ❤️
Great live band.. Met Johnny Hickman, David and Bob Rupe back on tour in late 90's.. Cool Dudes
Johnny is such a great guy. He talked with me and a buddy for around an hour in the lot before a show in Atlanta.

I would like to see that translation in case I cover this song in Quebec. If you could drop them, please?

My favorite song from my favorite band back in the day. It resonates more with a few decades of life.
My favorite song from Cracker, always gets me emotional. This song just holds that helpless and hopeless feeling. Special song to me.
Such great lead guitar from Johnny and great song of course. Great fuckin band too!
This song reminds me of my recovery. Beautiful tune.
Hidden Gem from the Kerosene Hat Album

This song reminds me of Roger Water songs. Especially from Final Cut album
