Great race Dave! I raced there last week in the F4 that track is challenging you made it look easy. Thank you for making us grandfathers look good!
It's funny the difference in variety between top split guys and some of the lower splits.
The 3 races I done at Red Bull Ring definitely had more variety with a Merc not even appearing in the top 5 and two of the races the top 5 positions were covered with different cars in each position.
Good race. The Ferrari/ yellow BMW incident looked like netcode
Sami-Matti Trogen also races for BMW frequently in the NLS IIRC
If you stand no chance doing 1:29's then I might as well not bother turning up in the Audi doing 1:31's 🤣

@Dave Cam Hi Dave hope your well Pal. So I noticed at the start of your video you mentioned low fps. Since the last update/downtime my fps is really low on a 3080 9900k 32gb ram so not a power issue and graphics are modest. I'm thinking there maybe a performance bug in the last patch. Also I've noticed my GPU usage isn't 99% as it normally is so something isn't right. Also have you done any Nvidia driver updates in the past week or so? I need to test older Drivers to see if it's a GPU driver issue.
By the way I also hate this track with passion 🤣🤣 great content as always 👌

Good racing though which is the main thing.
It's a good job it isn't necessary to be the fast to gain positions or I'd be finished.

IRacing need to sort the slow downs out. 1 second is never 1 second. Also nice to see something other then sunshine in iRacing

Throughout the video on the dash there is a blinking led saying spare RH. Does anyone know what it's for ?
Dave, you mentioned before that you use more Brake Force in iRacing compared to ACC. Do you use the same Brake Force for all cars in iRacing?
I ask because they all have such a different feel for locking up, I'm having trouble finding the best way to keep a consistent muscle memory. Example cars I'm driving recently on iRacing are C6R, 488 EVO, AMG GT4, and USF2000
In ACC it's pretty much stamping on the pedal to 100% so I usually soften it just to save my leg a little. I have it set the same in all cars on iRacing 👍
A stiffer pedal may help you. You don't need to brake as hard as you think 😁

Using Fanatec Clubsport v3 with the stuffed inserts, I run about 50% brake force for ACC and anywhere from 70 to 90 for iRacing. The threshold is in completely different spots in all of them, so I was hoping there would be a way to make it similar for all of them. Maybe that just isn't possible.

FYI - your dead zone on your clutch is too low. You keep getting very small clutch inputs when you are on the brakes.
It doesn't show in iracing or my wheel aoftware, just on Racelabs for some reason. 👍

RBR is my absolute favorite in Open Wheelers, but I gotta admit in GT3 it's just terrible. the sloping turns are just so slow without proper downforce
so only drive on tracks where you can have high downforce? Every single track has it's own challenges, some easier, some harder. But without those differences it would be a boring world.
@@OldSlow well for me its rather avoiding low downforce series like GT3s. I love daves content on them, but I found that my pace is always miles off while I'm okay in F3 and F4. so focusing on open wheelers is just way better for me and I don't have to relearn braking+tailbraking all the time :)

I don't get 100% anything through RUclips. Donations to PayPal are different but super hats, channel memberships though RUclips are shared revenue
