- A new hard mode has been confirmed for the June update which is expected 17/06/2024. Also Stuart (Clash General Manager) gives some clues about what we can expect for TH17, which I'm guessing will be towards the end of 2024.

Merged TH and eagle artillery, that's going to be a huge nerf for the whole base, I can see the triples with anything from here.
Yep. Ppl aim for one or the other starting. Just th then easy 3 star.
@@todvanced7842 exactly, blimp with yetis, loons, super archers, fireball, etc then the whole core of the base is gone and you would be able to finish the base with pretty much anything, hopefully they don't do it.
Yeah, I think they’re going to have to make the eagle and TH merge a bit more powerful than the normal eagle. Maybe make it possible to hit multiple targets with more damage than normal eagle.
It might be they r just changing th weapon to eagle and the eagle itself will still be there. He did say merge into not merge with.

Just make three multi-player divisions based on trophy count of the attacker. Everyone from 0-4,199 is in regular mode, 4,200-4,999 would be hard mode, 5,000 and above is expert mode.
For CWL Crystal and below is regular mode, Masters is hard mode, Champs and above is expert mode.
For regular and friendly wars it can be based on clan level. Level 1-10 is regular mode, level 11-20 is hard mode, level 20 and above is expert mode.
This way, each individual clasher can pick their own experience. If it's too hard, drop trophies or switch clans. If it's too easy, push cups and join a higher level clan. It really is that simple. If and when people complain after that, they probably just like to complain.

this th with artillery was a reply from coc to a player in reddit, and it was joke. bro. eagle and th are mojorest defence, and placing in opposite coreners makes attackers think on which to prioritze.

Th17? FFS, i haven't maxed 16 yet. And the way the hero equipment is, i doubt i will have a complete set of maxed equipment by the time 17 drops.

Eagle merging will suck. Just have to aim for the town hall n easy 3 star.
If it’s anything like the clan capital, the HP will be the biggest problem. We could see it hit 16-18k HP and on top of that, I’d assume the firing speed would be much faster. I could see it being very difficult to take down

They said they will put new signature defenses so it might make attack trickier

It’s been suggested there will be a new Town Hall yearly, so TH17 isn’t expected until the end of the year at a guess. June update will be for TH16 etc.
Barely have a stable th16 no need to th17 yet for some time...its better to drop new equipments, ores income/collectors, more new traps, and new defending CC troops only...
Remember it’s suggested a new TH roughly every year so TH17 shouldn’t be until the end of the year (my guess).
I play coc for fun but after root rider nerf i hardly 2 star.

I agree. Its a dumb idea. Would have been far better to just increase difficulty for all but bump max stars from 3 to 5 so there are far less 0 star attacks which annoy players the most.
May be in hard mode the equipment will be nerfed or housing space will be reduced.
I have no idea but probably defence DPS increase would be easiest

I believe the "merge" of Eagle an TH is just an Eagle firing mechanism sort of like capital hall, but the actual Eagle defense itself will remain untouched. So essentially you'll have 2 eagle artillery on the base, 1 being the TH itself. Would be a game changer. 4th inferno would be nice, too💪💯
hoping that that's the case. merging these two buildings means losing one good one for defense.

@@franks.6134 there is but it's only for the league in which your in. Most of my clan is th11-13. We have had to face full th16 clans before in cwl. Someone need to change.

I’ve been playing this game from the beginning, I remember attacking and defending and just winning or getting 1 star or no star, 48% was stressful. The Game was more enjoyable back then.
Hope TH17 is not part of this update. Im almost maxxed out TH 16. Need a few more weeks lol

Root riders are still plenty strong… you shouldn’t have one troop over dominate like that. You really wanna just use that same root rider spam attack in every attack you do for the rest of your life? What’s the point of playing
I am so sorry you can't have a boring meta where you spam 1 troop mindlessly in a strategy game to make yourself happy. Personally, if I were a noob, I'd be super angry! Almost as angry as the pros! (See my point is, you're signing up to play a strategic game, yet you don't want to see diversity, and you are as mad as any other competitive player, yet you shame them for being angry. How about now that roots are nerfed, you just... idk... learn how to funnel? I mean the skill required to triple is at its lowest...)

Eventually you'll find something you enjoy again. I think you definitely had something you enjoyed before roots for sure else you probably wouldn't have made it this far!

Root rider nerf was essential. Rushers should not be capable of tripling maxed bases of players who've dedicated over a decade of their life to the game

Hard mode? Who are making these updates. You should be balancing the game to where normal players get 2 stars on average and pros shoot for the 3. Fire whoever is suggesting these ridiculous updates.
Comp player here, what I will say is that the difficulty thing has been a problem since th10 was max. They made it too hard, everyone started cheating, they banned cheating, people started quitting, th11 came out, they started making the game easier, 12 came out and peaked the game competitively, 13 came out, they started going downhill and softer for cocomelon babies, and then by 14 they really just started saying hey, we prize our highest town hall but spit on you lower weaklings for the next 2 town halls until 16 where they said "ok cocomelon babies don't like the rest of the game easy and the top town hall being hard, we nerf".
That's the basic history, but point is, they'd have to be shooting to balance the game after the fact of them building their playerbase up with cocomelon babies who can't get over having no skill. They will lose money, lose players, and effectively I think I'd rather have an alive game than a dead game that no longer exists. So I hope and pray they don't wet the bed on this update because I can't handle the game being too easy rn, I think hay day is objectively harder at this point

The game is going to hell. We players have been playing for 15 years, but the developments are many and complicated, making players bored and despair. The game has become purely commercial and not in the player’s interest. Many updates in one year complicate our mission as players because time and resources are scarce. Interest in the game will decrease if they continue like this.

They nerf root riders four times bcz spam attack still working and Pro Player lost income so they nerf RR again and again and again and again lol
hard mode for pro's. Continue with RR spam for casuals. Boring game play for the mass and basically another game for pros, so we dont need to watch it.

Merging the TH with the EA would be cool if it had the range of the EA concept but had more of a trebuchet type weapon and did splash damage like the scattershot so it's more like when they introduced the ricochet cannon and multi-archer towers 😊

i had enough of this rubbish it's almost like they only care about those top players. they're releasing townhall before we can even come close to upgrading it. I've been playing coc casually since the early days and it is impossible for players like us to max out. rmb how they took years to go from th 10 to 11? now it seems like a new th releases every 6 fking months. new th used to be a very special update and now it just feels like any other updates for cash grab
TH17 should be at the end of the year based on a yearly cycle. June update will be for TH16 etc.
@@SirMooseGaming but still casual players will nvr be able to max their th within a year. it's frustrating although i kinda understand why is supercell doing this as there're plenty of pro players who've alrdy maxed out 16 long ago. i would rather supercell add in new troops and defense for 16 before going for 17. it just defeats the "special" excitement we used to have for a new th.

Legends needs an option to NOT log in. It forcing us as you know to log into Legends, when we just want to be in Titan 1 sometimes. basically Legends should be an option to NOT log in
Its pretty simple, if you accidently get above 5000 trophies, just go on your defences and press the revange buttom and lose it. If this doesnt work, just delete your shield and wait until you get attacked. The biggest mistake is to press the buttom to search for enemies, because than you are in the legends league officially. Otherwise you are also in the legends league but you have the normal attack system (more than 8 attacks per day, can skip unlimitely ..) i use this trick all the time, since im always arround 4800-4950 trophies.
I hope they return the hero potion to +5 levels only

It was too hard because you needed a decent level of skill to succeed before the nerf, and especially the monolith nerf. Coc skill gap is massive, loads of players hit the "I can't even funnel" mark (for whatever reason, reasonable or not). Keep in mind supercell uses these terms in relation to their playerbase. Personally I think prenerf 15 was best town hall they had executed since th11.
Coz, hero equpments isn't exist at that time.
@@richardmann8448attacking mid looking th15s……. but if you had a brain, using queen walk, warden walk. almost always run out of time. so had to be spamming and getting 3 stars on trash bases.
Legends is COMPLETELY BROKEN..THERE IS NO DEFENSE FOR MAX PLAYERS
