    Abubakar Adam Ibrahim is a Nigerian writer. His debut novel, Season of Crimson Blossoms, won the NLNG Nigeria Prize for Literature. His short story collection, The Whispering Trees, was longlisted for the Etisalat Prize for Literature and shortlisted for the 2013 Caine Prize for African Writing.
    Chika Unigwe was born in Nigeria. She is the author of four novels, including On Black Sisters Street, and Night Dancer. Her short stories and essays have appeared in various journals. Her works have been translated into many languages including German, Polish, Japanese, Hebrew, Italian, Hungarian, Spanish and Dutch. A recipient of several awards, she lives and works in the USA.
    Nadifa Mohamed was born in Hargeisa in 1981. Her first novel, Black Mamba Boy, won the Betty Trask Prize, was longlisted for the Orange Prize and shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award, the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize, the Dylan Thomas Prize, and the PEN Open Book Award. In 2013, she was selected as one of Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists. Her second novel, The Orchard of Lost Souls, won a Somerset Maugham Prize and the Prix Albert Bernard, was longlisted for The Dylan Thomas Prize and shortlisted for the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award. In 2017, she was selected as one of Freeman’s Journal’s ‘Future of New Writing’.
    Abeer Y. Hoque is a Nigerian-born Bangladeshi-American writer and photographer. Her books include The Long Way Home, a travel photography and poetry monograph, The Lovers and the Leavers, a collection of linked stories and the memoir Olive Witch. See more at olivewitch.com.

    THE JAIPUR LITERATURE FESTIVAL
    Described as the 'greatest literary show on Earth', the Jaipur Literature Festival is a sumptuous feast of ideas.

    Past speakers have ranged from Nobel Laureates His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, J.M. Coetzee, Muhammad Yunus and Orhan Pamuk, Man Booker Prize winners Ben Okri, Howard Jacobson, Margaret Atwood, Marlon James, Michael Ondaatje, Paul Beatty and Yan Martel, Pulitzer Prize winners Andrew Sean Greer, Benjamin Moser, Colson Whitehead and Jhumpa Lahiri, Sahitya Akademi winners Gulzar, Javed Akhtar, M.T. Vasudevan Nair as well as the late Girish Karnad, Mahasweta Devi and U.R. Ananthamurthy along with literary luminaries including Amish Tripathi, Chima¬manda Ngozi Adichie, Vikram Chandra and Vikram Seth. An annual event that goes beyond literature, the Festival has also hosted Amartya Sen, Amitabh Bachchan, the late A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Oprah Winfrey, Stephen Fry, Thomas Piketty and former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai.
    The Jaipur Literature Festival is a flagship event of Teamwork Arts, which produces over 33 highly acclaimed performing arts, visual arts and literary festivals across more than 40 cities globally.
