    Thank you for the video, as a TSA officer myself it's refreshing to know people actually educate themselves properly about the Body scanner. When people opt out for a pat-down and I explain to them all of this they swear up and down I'm lying, yet I'm the one that works here and know how the machines work, hell if the machine I'm standing in front of for 8 hours every day did emit heavy radiation I wouldn't be working for TSA.
    You end up getting a FULL body pat down that takes more time to get done then to just go through the scanner which does a targeted pat down on the area/areas that alarm the machine when you opt out. If you wear the right clothing, don't have anything in your pockets, don't have excessive jewelry on I can guarantee you we clear you fast and you don't get touched at all, trust me no one wants to touch you lol
