Hello Sir. That tutorial was good. If possible please upload a video for calculating gcv and pcv for the incomplete augmented design and getting the resulted data in word (.docx) format. Also please guide on d^2 statistic by tocher method for diversity.

Hello sir, I am also conducting an experimental trial in Augmented Design. The experiment consists of 3 checks, 52 genotypes and 4 blocks so the error degree of freedom is 6. I want to ask that whether it is correct or the error df should be more than 10 compulsorily. If that so then I will need to add 2 more checks in my trial in order to make error df equal to 12.

Thanks for your question. If error degree of freedom less than 12, the F value sharply increased ,hence the power of F test will decrase substantially and it is not able to distinguish the true difference.

@@wakjiratesfahun3682 so should i take two more checks? In order to make error df 12.

Yeah, adding two checks will lead you to have 12 edf since edf=(r-1)(c-1)or alternatively if you haven't enough resources you can add 2 blocks and 1 checks.
