Yes! Park volleyball! I started playing last summer at 29 and have *exclusively* played park games, weekly while it's warm out. Such a great way to spend a day.
I know this is an old video, but we play a little different rules up here in Vancouver. When a guy touches the ball inside their attack line, the ball has to be placed behind the opponent's attack line. Also, men can block but only the other male player but it's rare as having one player cover the back court is a lot more difficult by themselves.
This feels like if street fighter 3 was a volleyball game with the music in the background, kind like how alex’s/ken’s stage feels like if anyone knows what i mean
Great video, I just bought that park & sun net. Can’t wait to try it out. It looks like you guys are using a smaller court though for 2v2. What is the size for that?
Question? That behind the head hit that Ashley hit at 4:4 That was legal because she hit it with a flat hand and it was square? Whats the ruling on that? Just curious
If I give a chance to build my dream team My dream team from all 4 seasons Bokuto(wing spiker) Kageyama(Setter) Hinata(Middle Blocker) Aone(Middle Blocker) Ushijma(Opposite) Daichi(Opposite) Nishinoya(Libero) Hope you make a video of you doing your own dream team
These are the rules they decided on (according to last video): Net height: women Men only attack back row Women attack from anywhere So you could only block the women effectively, which happens at times here.
In most reverse coed format rules only the females can block. (Some places allow guys to block guys but this is rarer). And because guys are hitting from the 10 they have a better angles of the court blocking wont be as effective. Sometimes youll have girls block each other but because the females usually wont be consistenly hitting setting up a block defense wont always happen.

Grass volleyball is super underrated, if you play with a smaller court it’s super fun
It is super fun! We are actually playing on the official smaller court
@@ElevateYourselfOfficial i played open on grass in the 80's 30'by30' each side. what is the "smaller" size these days?
@@justjim9723short court is standard for doubles now. 27’x27’
Our old big court point score tourneys are now “dinosaur” tournaments

Do players block in grass? Or it's easier to both be off the net for defense?

The women can block since it's women's net. Men cannot block. It's personal preference whether the strategy is to block.

If that other guy would swing instead of hit a roll shot every time he touches the ball he might have more success
Friendly games are a good time to work on rolls. Not everything is a championship match
