At 15:30 you can see that your amigo isn’t bringing the gun up to his line of sight but rather almost leaning down therefore causing for him to shoot low every time. My dad and I always have a great time watching your videos so thank you. Let me know if you guys want help with your next science experiment because my dad and I happen to be scientists ourselves and love conducting experiments of our own.

For sure. Also, those are big heavy rounds that don't fly very fast. That makes them harder to penetrate into the tank. I've never seen anyone say, but I'd love to know the actual wall thickness on those tanks. Another factor is when full they have high pressure pushing outward which will make them hard to penetrate.
Hey you should weld some fins to an oxygen tank, build a mount that would point the tank straight up (nozzle end down) and blast the nozzle with a 50 cal to create a oxygen tank rocket. I wonder how high it would go?

Almost every shot out of that Mauser pistol was a hang fire. I wouldn't use any more of that ammo if you don't have to. Maybe you can find some more modern loadings for it.
You know i fly rc helicopters often and I feel you when you forget your bullets for the guns you bring lol, sometimes I bring fuel, starter and a whole bunch of accessories just to find out I forgot the transmitter to fly hahaha
Always love your videos! One thing though, Oxygen is not flammable on its own. So the flare would have done nothing if you punctured the tank. I'd suggest a hydrogen tank with an oxygen tank with a grenade taped between them. Just a thought.
Oxygen and acetylene tanks with that grenade ( same as a cutting torch) will go off big time! and I’d love to see that ! From a safe distance of course! 😄

Grat video and good shooting unrested. Results are actually unsurprising. Also, if you don't hit within about 2" of center, curvature drastically affects it. I'd be surprised if the .45-70 Actually, it has more power than the .500. Mabey a .460 smith with 200gr. Also, a TTC in hot 7.62x25 steel core. If you can develop loads and accuracy, a good revolver can make a man VERY uncomfortable at 300 yds! I could hit feral dogs usually at least second shot after spotting the fall at 325 with a .357, hot .45lc, or .454 casull, but i had fired hundreds of rounds at that range. I actually liked to hit barrel size targets at 400 occasionally in a plowed field because i could spot shot. My hot Rugers sighted at 100 are dead on at 25 for a 6 o'clock 2" hold. I always file a little notch above the tightest chamber and always use it as the first round or for extreme accuracy single loading. Keeping my elbow unlocked helps with recoil. Have your buddy sneak in a few empties in on you to check for flinch! Stay safe and GBU!

My buddy tried to shoot it with one hand out of the car window(we were on the country back roads in TN btw) and the gun did a backflip out of his hand when he shot it! It was epic!! We had to pull over and walk back and down off a small cliff to retrieve it. It's a very powerful gun. I know it's the most powerful handgun I've ever shot. I wouldn't want to own one well I'd own one but I wouldn't pay for one.

Yeah, oxygen tanks hold a LOT of pressure, and have to keep that pressure safely intact. You need faster moving bullets to punch through.

At that distance, I'd be surprised to see any pistol round penetrate those tanks. Maybe a .454 Casull. Maybe a .50 BMG.
