I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.

This video(Cool WITH YOU) is based off the story of Cupid and Psyche. Hoyeon plays the role of cupid and the man shes in love with is Psyche. Her in the rain at the end of the first video is her shedding her god powers becoming human to be with the guy. at the end at the cross walk tony leung is Venus making her a god again and making the guy fall in love with another girl. NewJeans are like guardian angels looking over her making sure shes doing her job.

20:02 glad to see someone acknowledge how good of a dancer Danielle is , cause way too many people like to pretend she doesn't have both singing and dancing skills that could easily place her as main in those positions. not saying she's the best ever but people do ignore her skills and performance quality.
I have seen all types in comments from “professional” dancers n “judges”. Weak lower body, akward back,bad energy control, incomplete moves blah blah blah. I believe this era really showed different choreographies and how each can play to members strengths. When they make their dance rankings I don’t even think they acknowledge that. This is the only cool with you dance analysis video and it proves what I knew all along when it comes that Danielle is a great dancer and this sort of choreography with texture, sharp but fluid movements play to her strengths but watch fans place her last regardless
Minji did ballet as well, Hanni did ballet and tap dancing, and Hyein did ballet and some contemporary, she has a pre-debut video of her performing Oh My Girl YooA's "Bon Voyage.

Min Heejin's signature is written all over NewJeans. If you didn't know, she was the genius behind most of SM's group concepts; you can refer to f(x)'s Rum Pum Pum & 4 Walls as direct proof that she's top notch in what she does.

What I’ve researched about the story line,,, Hoyeon is Cupid. She connects people by looking at them. Seeing how when she looked at the office girl then the guy in the elevator, they starting making out 😭😭 But when she looked at the boy, she never took her eyes off him, even in the next elevator scene. After she became human, she is still able to see other Cupids. Tony is another Cupid, and since he made eye contact with Hoyeon, he knew not to pair the boy with her.
“I don’t wanna fight your shadow,” meaning she doesn’t want to fight Tony.

Since NewJeans are her little guardians, they have to make sure she’s doing the right thing. Maybe that line means they don’t want to fight the “shadow” (Hoyeon).
FUN FACTS:
1. The scene where she takes the umbrella was on purpose. Now someone might have to share one 🤭
2. The scene of the pair she put together breaking up was a sign that she shouldn’t fall in love herself.

Yes danielle trained in ballet but also most of the girls minji ,hanni and hyein not sure about haerin they worked hard in this comback especially the waacking in super shy so I hope they get their deserved success and I luv that they are doing contemporary dance Kpop Stan don't see their talent and always say they have same dance when it's not. they are bringing back contemporary dance

Their label Ador's CEO is primarily the one responsible for the art and music direction of the group. She made her name and career working at SM for nearly two decades where she was the Creative Director, overseeing many of SM's most iconic groups such as SNSD, EXO, f(x), Red Velvet, etc. NewJeans is pretty much a distillation of all her desires and tastes over the years now that she finally has her own label and complete creative control from art to music for the first time.

Cool with you story continue at ASAP , because 5 Angel help cupid to transform as human to feel love, Tony Leung the higer level Angel foud them ruin the system, and Cupid complain the 5 angel at Get up, they tell the cupid "I don't wanna fight your shadow " 5 of them trying to calm cupid down, end up 5 of them get punished demoted became 5 fairy that living in jungle , at Jungel they living happy togather with Bunny ......this is why at ETA we can see they have butterfly wings, at ETA the 5 fairy always protect people in love , they will punish who ever cheated in love, as we can see some time they become gas station mechanic, police women etc .

Newjeans = 5 muses. Hoyeon = Cupid. Misc. male artist = mortal. Tony Leung = Zeus or another incarnation of Cupid? Eye movement by cupid/zeus is important (their magic manifests in real life). Cupid fell in love with a mortal and got reprimanded for her behavior by Zeus or other Cupid. 5 muses watch and sing. Meh. That's what I got when I watched first time. Very cinematic.

Sorry you're wrong. Kim Eunju and Black.Q have been the choreographers for every single one of NewJeans' dances. For Cool With You they bought on Jemma Lee to collaborate, she's a Korea contemporary dancer/choreographer.
