You'd think the fact Colin protested the appalling murder of Black people by police, throughout this country, it wouldn't matter to you or anyone else how he protested. Kaepernick was warning us. And he was not by any means disrespecting the flag. It was for police brutalities and black lives, but at first I didn't know what he was kneeling for, but now I know, like a cop was making fun of him holding a cardboard sign saying, will kneel for food. Damian Presha No the national anthem started in 2009 when the Department of Defense paid the NFL millions for advertising to boost recruitment for the military and that's why you the national anthem in games now. The only time the anthem was played in the NFL prior to that was Super Bowl.

People need to realize that sports and politics have always been together for thousands of years. What do people think the Roman Colosseum was for,not only was it about sports it was political too.

Funny,enough, Kap said the same thing when reporters asked him,why he sat on the bench after the third pre-season game,two years ago.
How can a black person disagree what Kap said,especially what's been happening to us recently and in the past.....smh
And,one more thing,everybody doesn't see the flag the same way......When I was a kid I would always feel guilty standing up for the flag because I would see the bullshit going on in my community. I know as an Disabled Veteran I get so sick of people speaking for me.
It irks my last nerve when people don't want to use logic in situations. It hurts to see how some blacks don't get the issue that Keap is standing up for them in the possibility that police brutality can happen to them. I've worked with MOSTLY white people and see how most of them are uncomfortable talking about black issues but have no problem inserting their opinion of what blacks should do.
The mere fact that some whites and now even some blacks, how they are clueless to reality of life, is one of the MAIN reasons why this country will NEVER heal and work on trying to better racial disparity and injustice.
You can't move forward when you don't want to acknowledge that there's an problem. The U.S. talks too much and don't practice what they preach.
