@elifcansucetin I relate to Daisy a lot, but with out her talent. And I have a guy in my life like him. We are soul mates who connect on a different level to his wife. But I chose not to be with him in that way as it would be codependent and toxic.
In the end where they've both got clean and done some work on themselves can a love rather than toxic obsession happen
Or am I totally projecting?

People get this sooooo wrong!!!! Billy and Daisy are not a beautiful love story!!!
They connect over their art, being seen, vulnerable by each other. It is a deep, artistic connection and passionate communication though music.
But it's not love.
Daisy is a condescending person who isn't capable of real romantic love and relationships.
Billy is trying to be clean and respect his wife and child. I have been a Daisy (except not actually talented) - she has this connection with Billy on this level and it is real on that raw passionate level - but it's a fucking toxic fantasy. Her behaviour is awful.
That is why it's a good show.
They both are the same when it comes to this. Billy is just as toxic and condescending as Daisy.
@@julietteSoul They both have similar toxic behaviour - but she feels this entitlement to him romantically/sexually, she chases him, she expects something from him. He abuses this. But ultimately she is hurting herself regarding her feelings for Billy.

Daisy's behavior was totally wrong I admit that, she was rude, whimsical, a bossy girl but that was because her traumas from childhood. She needed to figure it out, work in herself to be with anyone else as much as Billy needed. I think Daisy felt love to Billy she really feels this love, not only was a "music connection". they were always fighting because they were the same BROKEN souls that found love through out the music so they found themselves but Billy felt no just love but peace, he felt grateful on Camila, someone who keep him straight that was hard for him to make a choice between them so through the years both Daisy and Billy were meant and ready to be together because they were finally a mature people.... That's my point of view

I am probably projecting my experiences onto these characters but looking around in reality I see the same kind of thing.
Maybe you should look at why you have your reaction.
