Andy is doing awesome learning to jump - horse update

Andy is a relatively new horse we got to be in lessons , well trained on flat and we started him over jumps. He's doing well learning new skills.

Why is coach Ryan holding a crop - I thought this channel was about positive reinforcement? Hard to reward when holding a crop.

We do use positive reinforcement.
Some little kids can't reach past the saddle, and they hold a crop to help cue the horse. We test things out before asking little kids to try.
